We had our Google fiber installed in August of 2025. They said they were coming back to bury the line. They never did.
My wife and I have probably spent an entire day on the phone with their overseas support who keeps on telling us they will be out to bury it.
Last week the 80 year old neighbor tripped over it.
It’s been over 6 months.

@miyagawa @googlefiber We’ve been down in Atlanta for more than 4 hours now. Very disappointed to have relied on @googlefiber for my business needs, which has now resulted in my business losing money. I suppose it’s time to look into another ISP.

@googlefiber seems like there's a massive outage based on downdetector and the fact I don't have wifi. I can't even look up my address on the Google fiber outage page because it gives me an error. How are we going to get notified about resolution?

@googlefiber has cut our Internet lines 5 times IN A YEAR. It really seems intentional. As soon as our line has been cut they are packed up and gone within 5 minutes.
