@LNL_FootAnalyst Brilliant but I strongly believe the reason why Eze has not been given the shout on the left is because of his OOP nature.
On a norms, he should be the one replacing Trossard but because of his OOP that’s why we are looking at Morgan who is also similar to Leo.

Rogers is far from being Arsenal's best left-wing option, let alone for the £80 million Aston Villa are asking.
Rogers is one of the most dangerous players in attacking transitions in the Premier League, and he would be a great addition for Arsenal in this area, considering the principles of Arteta's system.
He's a great dribbler in open spaces and is also adept in tight spaces. He possesses an exceptional long-range shot, but lacks useful abilities in 1v1 situations on the wing, and he can't consistently create space from his marker.
This is a major weakness considering Arsenal frequently face deep defensive blocks.
His profile is similar to Eze's in general terms: a hybrid attacking midfielder/leftwinger with great technical ability and the capacity to provide the "X-factor," and precisely for that reason, it wouldn't make sense to pay £80 million for him. If Arteta hasn't been able to optimize Eze in the system this season, what suggests he could do so with Rogers to justify this expense? He's a complete, high-quality attacker who could join any elite club and make an immediate impact, but he's not yet consistent and reliable throughout an entire season. He reminds me in many ways of Désiré Doué.
Arsenal needs a different type of attacker, and they need to be sure it will work to justify such a significant financial investment.
Arsenal needs a left winger capable of breaking down defenses and taking creative responsibilities off Saka's shoulders, but always keeping in mind the possibility of Trossard and/or Martinelli leaving.
Wingers who fit this profile include Kvaratskhelia, Ndiaye, Diomande, Nusa, Summerville, Yildiz, and Godts.
Andrea Berta needs to carefully plan their transfer activity. Arsenal can't afford to waste money like other clubs with seemingly endless funds, even though their revenue has been very high this season.
Initially, Arsenal needs to buy a LW from this group, regardless of whether Trossard and/or Martinelli leave.
Jeremy Monga is another very good option, with a long-term perspective.
Keeping one of Trossard or Martinelli, adding a "cheap" option like Ndiaye, and signing Monga (possibly loaning him out), while maintaining Eze as a strong option at left winger, would be a good recruitment.
Wingers like Barcola and Gordon aren't reliable against low blocks, so they could eventually replace Martinelli, but it wouldn't make much sense.

🚨 Arsenal are ready to step up their interest in Morgan Rogers. TalkSPORT understands Mikel Arteta is personally leading the drive, with preliminary talks with his advisors believed to have already taken place. Aston Villa value Rogers at a minimum of £80m. 🕵️♂️🏴 [@alex_crook]
