@MrDtAFC Having zero match fitness at all against one of the most dangerous attacks in the last 10 years sounds like a recipe for disaster, no matter how good Timber actually is.

The prospect of Timber being back on Saturday is huge. Adrenalin will get him through as long as needed, even 90 minutes. He has shown before that when he returns from injury, it's like he has never been away.

They know exactly what happened, just how serious it was and they have their compensation claims ready. Those emails are not ambiguous or in need of context. They have all the context you could possibly ask for. Any written decision by the Panel needs to be justified - it can’t ignore the emails. And it’s not as if Man City could concoct conflicting evidence and expect it to be believed because any real evidence luke that would have been used at CAS, and it was not. So the Panel will have no alternative but to go heavy on the sanctions. I suspect the reason people wrongly believe City will get off lightly is because: 1., They wrongly think geopolitical matters will come into play. No chance of that. Would bring down the Govt and send MPs to prison, as well as kill Intl investment in the UK. 2., It was only a fine at CAS… but this ignores the reality that Uefa only used 6 emails as evidence at CAS, which were missing important context. They screwed the case (and even then, one arbitrator still found against Man City). The PL literally has MCFC branded, internally produced powerpoints decks showing “owner investment” that details payments through the sponsors. There’s no escape. No idea why the decision has taken so long to arrive at, but anything other than major sanctions would immediately be considered highly suspicious - something that would not necessarily be the case if the emails had not been leaked publicly.

I’m not going to belittle the Manchester City fanbase. What the club has done (115 charges) is one thing but supporters are supporters - not everybody can be as big as us, or as culturally significant, and thats ok. Just proud of how our supporters have shown up in the last week.
