If there was safe standing in the lower tiers, you’d have to remove the back 3 rows or so as well as some of the disabled areas, people struggle to see from there as it is.
Even if those obstacles could be overcome, it wouldn’t provide any higher capacity.

@afc_richard There is a lot of ‘floor’ space. One of the issues is the width of the aisles and exits. The green guide standards. Best way forward is new safe standing areas. Much of lower bowl stands anyway. And if you stand all game seat width hardly matters anyway. We keep pushing at AAB

@willow1886 If you made the seats a little bit narrower as you installed safe standing (they aren’t used so it doesn’t matter!) then you could address any capacity loss & perhaps even slightly increase. The good news is there are people at Arsenal looking at this with a ‘can do’ approach now
