Left Munising this morning for St. Ignace to catch the ferry, and spent the day on Mackinac Island. First time there. Big fans now. Butterfly House for Chloe, Pink Pony lunch, Murdick’s fudge, and a horse drawn taxi loop. Awesome day.

A fun "back in the day" story with Alaska-Anchorage and Minnesota. It's 3/11/2007... A WCHA playoff series between AA & MN. MN wins 6-2 Friday night. AA wins 2-1 Saturday night in overtime to send it to Sunday for a deciding game. The game is tied at 1 going in to the 3rd period and AA's Kevin Clark has been yapping the entire weekend. He's a great trash talker. Just non-stop all weekend. Mid 3rd @mcarman16 gives Minnesota the lead. Then late in the game @bookerT2116 gives MN a 3-1 lead with around 1:30 left. In the remaining time, Okposo is on the MN bench and reaches over the photo box in between the benches with his stick and starts tapping Clark on the head as if to say... "You can be quiet now". This is happening right in front of myself and @Gorgamatic21 ... Either one of us could have easily grabbed Okposo's stick. It was that close. Gorg turns to me and says.... "Did that just happen?" and we both were a bit stunned while laughing at the same time. This was back when the glass between the benches was very short. The very next season the glass was full height. I know that @shepd3 was the ref a for that game. Looks like he missed that one. 🤣🤣🤣 Ahhhhhh.... Those WCHA days had quite a bit of shenanigans! I can't wait for 2045 when 128 teams are in March Madness and the College Football Playoff has 48 teams. I think we should just eliminate the regular season and play every game at neutral sites, so we can maximize TV revenue. We need more money in college sports.
