@mrjethwani1 @guptadas_anando Total mafia vibes. Listen to my 'wisdom' or I'll get you beaten up. The questions are coming thick & fast and the irritation is bringing out their default modes.

BJParty is full of goons! See the sanskari behaviour of the Gaddakari when someone questioned him. Instead of responding, he’s threatening to throw him out with help of police.

@HelleLyngSvends And much of the Indian media will probably pretend this awkward moment never happened - in the process providing further evidence for India’s low ranking.

My parents, who refused to listen to me, ended up going to Kedarnath and it turned into one of the worst experiences of their lives. The roads are pathetic. The infrastructure is a joke. The system feels rotten to the core. If you do not pay ₹2500 per person, you are left standing in an 11-hour queue. The 22 km pedestrian stretch itself takes around 11 hours. And while ordinary people are suffering, two IPS officers apparently got themselves special access, as usual. Helicopter only available on paper! If someone cannot afford to pay their way out, they can easily be stuck for 30 to 40 hours. Even after bribing your way through every single official, the wait time from base camp to the city is still around 4 hours. At most places, there is 0/ zero/ nada/ zilch safety. No proper inflow-outflow management. Every minute feels like a stampede waiting to happen. Pandits are asking ₹6000 to ₹8000 for “prasad.” The roads are full of potholes. The entire system is a disgrace. Idk what can be done, but if this is Kedarnath, God must be angry. And people responsible for upkeep of it are dying like pigs in slaughterhouses! Whoever is responsible for this mismanagement should be dragged into public accountability, not allowed to hide behind religion, power or bureaucracy. Hindus probably deserve better

@HTGurgaon team visited several compensatory afforestation sites in Gurugram and found barren land instead of the #plantations claimed in official records — not #environmentalists, but ground verification exposing the reality. If thousands of #trees exist only on paper while the city loses its green cover daily, this raises serious questions on accountability and misuse of public funds. Gurugram cannot afford “ghost plantations” when pollution levels are choking the city. hindustantimes.com/s/1UoZ9ge #Gurugram #Environment #Afforestation #GreenCover #Aravallis

Common travellers hardly get seats in Delhi metro. But Rekha Gupta went inside metro for her PR and she along with her security occupied entire row of seats. BJP knows only to cause inconvenience to common people. Why a CM of UT needs such heavy security?

If this driver and their family were walking across a car park and you drove this close to them they would rightfully get upset yet they think it’s ok to do the same to someone riding a bicycle!

A confirmed NIP from the other evening; a close pass with lateral separation of approx 30cm, doing 24mph on a 20mph road. All while I'm passing parked vehicles on both sides of the road blocking the 'cycle lanes', avoiding some serious potholes and trying not to be doored.

The #E20 fuel cover-up is clearly a full-blown scam. Check out this coordinated stonewalling from the Govt and OMCs: 1️⃣ Ministry of Petroleum sat on the RTI for 2 months, then shuffled it away. 2️⃣ ARAI claims the actual testing data is a "confidential" state secret. 3️⃣ HPCL & BPCL shut down the RTI, hilariously claiming that asking for a physical report is "seeking an opinion." 4️⃣ IOCL just replied by pointing me to the generic NITI Aayog roadmap already in the public domain—completely dodging the actual test reports. They are playing bureaucratic games because the truth is terrifying: SIAM's own official stance warns that putting E20 in incompatible vehicles isn't just about losing mileage - it is a massive safety risk. There are no hidden success reports. The Ministry lied in their press release, the OMCs are complicit, and millions of Indian motorists are being forced to drive ticking time bombs on a ghost policy @HindustanPetroleum @BPCLimited @IndianOilcl @PetroleumMin @siamindia @arai_india @HardeepSPuri

On expected lines, reply from @IndianOilcl is also a piece of mumbo-jumbo. 1. They say they just assisted @siamindia & @arai_india in a study which they don't have detailed report of. 2. The link they've shared is of the NITI aayog roadmap which I've been referring to time and again. The same roadmap in which SIAM clearly recommends that e20 for existing vehicles is not just detrimental to efficiency, but also a safety risk. 3. SIAM has actually recommended e20 to be rolled out from 2028 with parallel availability of e10. When automobile association bodies have clearly warned that existing vehicles are incompatible with e20, why the forced rollout claiming some research which probably doesn't exist? My question still remains (as of millions of petrol vehicle owners) - Where's the research studies report that @PetroleumMin claims to have? @HardeepSPuri

Primeminister of India, Narendra Modi, would not take my question, I was not expecting him to. Norway has the number one spot on the World Press Freedom Index, India is at 157th, competing with Palestine, Emirates & Cuba. It is our job to question the powers we cooperate with.

Give A Shit About Nature

Since it keeps coming up, let’s clear this up: nestling vs. fledgling. Nestling: Tiny, naked, eyes often still closed or barely open. Barely has feathers. Belongs in the nest. If you find one on the ground, it needs help (put it back in the nest if possible). Fledgling: Fully feathered, looks like a small awkward version of the adult. Can hop and flutter but isn’t great at flying yet. Parents are still feeding it nearby. Usually best to leave it alone. Most “abandoned” baby birds people find are actually healthy fledglings going through flight school. The parents are watching, you can leave them be.

2026 is expected to be a year of a ‘super’ El Nino, which will make it one of the hottest years on record. Early warning signs are already visible: weak monsoon forecasts, looming droughts and forest fires in the hills. Yet, when the rains do arrive, our cities continue to treat water as a nuisance rather than a resource, letting streets flood, potholes fill and precious rainwater drain away. This summer, @CSEINDIA has launched “Water Wise”, a public awareness and call-to-action campaign to bring the subject of water back into our collective consciousness. For over three decades, CSE has advocated one simple principle: Catch water where it falls. Let’s be water-wise in today’s climate-risked world.
