Telling Avery and IP they need to apologetics IN the Church is not an attack: it’s the loving action since it’s for their good and not based on respecting men, but putting what is right first and foremost. If I was needing clicks, I wouldn’t risk offending them: I would play the nice ecumenist for the broadest appeal.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill They were all called a kingdom of priests (Ex 19:6) and the Levitical priesthood was instituted later as judgment (Ex 32). Both are true, universal priesthood is the design, the mediating caste is the curse.

Dear Muslims; I hate heretical modern evangelicalism as much as you do. Some advice debating them, just bring up church history and the origin of their self interpreted version of Christianity and they’ll fold. It’s never been so easy in 2026.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Exodus 19:6 is God's covenantal design for all Israel, fulfilled in the Church. The Levitical caste was a post-golden-calf judgment (Ex 32:29) for their failure. In Christ, that curse is reversed; the mediating caste is abolished. You're defending a punishment, not the promise.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Yes, Exodus 19:6 calls Israel a "kingdom of priests" a corporate, non-sacerdotal priesthood. That's precisely my point. Peter applies it to all believers (1 Pet 2:9). You've just nuked your own clerical caste. The whole Church is priestly; no separate episcopate required.

@GospelLogic @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill How do you have a friggin shadow in a covenant decree stupid? Do you understand when God is making a revelation of a covenant, the typology or shadow claim is not rendered? You have no idea what you’re talking about. Hey dummy does it it call the priests haLevi’im haKohanim?

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill The shadow isn't the decree itself but the Levitical institution it established, which Hebrews 10:1 explicitly calls a skian (shadow) of things to come. The covenant decree promises the priesthood's telos is fulfilled in Christ, not your bearded LARPers.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Track this: the plural Levitical priesthood was a shadow-type abolished at the cross (Heb 7:12). Its fulfillment is the laos, the royal priesthood of all believers (1 Pet 2:5,9). You've resurrected what Christ buried. Orthodoxy is Anti-Christ

@GospelLogic @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Oh my goodness you really can’t track. The argument isn’t whether Jesus is both the Davidiv King & Melchizedekian priest. The PRIESTHOOD is plural, not singular. The Melchizedek priest is singular Person. haLevi’im haKohanim is plural, which connote to a group of ppl.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill "syntax refutes you" but provide zero syntactical analysis, just naked assertion. Christ's dual office as King-Priest is explicit in Zech 6:13. Your perpetual Levitical plural finds its fulfillment not in a sacerdotal caste, but in the royal priesthood of believers (1 Pet 2:9)

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill you dumb? You just conceded my point. Israel was called a "kingdom of priests" (Ex 19:6) before the Aaronic priesthood, meaning corporate priesthood is the original, not the exception. Peter applies this to the whole Church (1 Pet 2:9). You've exegeted yourself into a corne

@GospelLogic @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill You apparently can’t track to save your life. This refutes your assertion you tried to do with stating that somehow, we are all priests. The point is that we don’t all have that office of priesthood, that you’re taking Heb out of context since Israel were also called priests too

@JayDyer You don’t get to cry “80IQ pearl clutching” after publicly cheering a guy who doxxes Christians, threatens them, and slanders their wives. If your issue was merely protestants, you wouldn’t be applauding jihadist attacks on fellow Christians just to score points for Orthodoxy.

I’ve spent 8 years debating the top Muslims and admitting that a Muslim had an accurate criticism somehow makes me a Jihadi according to 80IQ evangelicals lol. This stupidity and pearl clutching is exactly why people are leaving Protestantism.

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill The condition is explicit: "If you obey My covenant" (Ex 19:5). They broke it at Sinai. The Aaronic priesthood was installed after that breach as a curse, not a blueprint. Christ's Melchizedekian priesthood is unconditional, once-for-all, and nontransferable.

@GospelLogic @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Oh my goodness, you’re quite literally slow. Explain what you mean by it being conditional. You’re not understanding the objection, that w/e the nature of the priesthood is, that also would be the high priest as well

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Jer 33:17-22: singular "David" (Messiah) sits on throne, plural "Levitical priests" offer sacrifice. But Christ *is* both, Davidic King and Melchizedek Priest (Zech 6:13, Heb 7). Your Levitical plural is fulfilled typologically in the royal priesthood of all believers (1 Pet 2:9)

@GospelLogic @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill You’re an idiot. Jeremiah uses singular grammar for the Messiah and plural grammar for the priesthood. If they were the same identity, the Hebrew would not distinguish them by number, noun class, and covenant object. You quite literally can’t read. Prove syntactically then

@Kaysuede @Dgeologist1 @patristicpill Ex 19:6 is conditional "if you obey my covenant" and they broke it with the golden calf. Then came a separate Aaronic caste. 1 Peter 2:9 applies the fulfillment to the Church unconditionally. You're arguing from type to antitype backward. The shadow doesn't nullify the substance.
