I have very small reach and would appreciate if you all would share this so I could see if I could get a response from a Protestant: Many Protestants claim we shouldn’t ask Mary or Saints to pray for us, we don’t need sacraments, we don’t need priests, etc. we can go directly to God. God is all powerful, yes. However, if we take this concept further why did God makes angels and use them to communicate with us for His prophecies when he comes directly other times to talk with us? Why in fact did he even make us but to not have hierarchy and order? Why did he even make humans? Why even make the universe at all? Would really like a serious discussion without name calling please.

There is no need to go to a priest, or to pray to saints or Mary. We have the Lord Jesus Christ. "For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus." - 1 Timothy 2:5

You have been falsely taught the Catholic faith with that last sentence indicative of someone indoctrinated into anti Catholic sentiment rather than through self study. In the catechism which outlines our belief it shows that we have the Magisterium, Sacraments, and Scripture which all provide equal weight into guiding our faith. As far as your claim of intentional misinterpretation I ask you while Catholic faith has remained consistent in beliefs for almost 2000 years why would the denominations be unrecognizable to even Luther and Calvin? Even to someone 100 years ago? Do you think 1000 years in the future it will be even more changes? Under the belief of sola scriptura how could it exist before literacy or widespread availability of the physical copies of the Bible? Under sola scriptura how do you know your interpretation is correct and someone else’s is false? You aren’t able to as it is your interpretation vs the others.

@Lovecraft50221 @farmingandJesus @linkvanstinkle Calling a demonic appearance isn't blasphemy of the holy-spirit. That is why one of the gift of the holyspirit is the gift of discernment, if catholics did have that, they would be able to tell that the figure who appeared was a demon.

@farmingandJesus This isn’t allowed and in fact for baptism the church provides the candles, clothes, etc needed unless you bring them yourself.

Baptism saves in your theology and you charge for it? You charge for salvation?

It’s literally in our catechism that we don’t pay and there was a huge thing happened a few hundred years ago that occurred in a schism that resulted in a council that made it official that this was not allowed. That is the thing about our faith it is all documented what we believe.

@beanzfirst I’ve heard this from so many Catholics. Because YOU didn’t pay doesn’t mean a lot don’t. Ask about it , you’ll see

I am the way the truth and the life - Jesus You know doing some carpentry work makes me realize why Christ chose that as his profession. There is something miraculous working with wood. You can clean the dirt and mold out to be new, you can sand it and transform it. It is still the same wood and same furniture but it is made new. It doesn’t rust like metal and decay it just needs to be clean and renewed. God bless you all.

The reason Roman Catholics hate sola scriptura is because much of their theology cannot be found in it.

Please pray for me and my family. We could really use help right now. I know that less than ten people view my posts I make on here but even if one of you prays I’m sure it will help. I have complete faith in Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers and the response this got. I truly felt it and felt God guiding me that night through a very tough time. He kept me strong and stoic and clear of mind to make decisions until I finally could get home and release and cry in my room. Sharing this to help show Gods work and testify for the power of prayer and to thank you all. And remind others that staying strong doesn’t mean you don’t feel your emotions but rather feel them when you are able so you can stay strong through the challenge you face. God bless you all.

They are all prayers in Latin. I am adding new segments and prayers this is just the baseline ones I wanted to launch with to see how much interest before I created more modules. I’ve had two people purchase subscriptions so far and a few dozen downloads which I’m very grateful for. So exciting see people find what I’ve made to be useful. Hope to reach as many people as possible with it. I’m thinking about adding other languages than English to Latin like Italian/Spanish/Polish/German/etc to Latin but not sure if anyone would want that?
