Bafazi, for awareness!!!! Almost got robbed near MTN Taxi Rank this morning, so please be extra cautious when driving past that area. There were about five guys wearing blue reflective jackets, which made them appear to be public workers. They stopped my car and claimed that there was something wrong with my tyres, telling me to pull over and get out to see it. Fortunately, I knew my car has sensors that would alert me if there was a problem, so I refused to stop. They became aggressive and started hitting the car, but I managed to drive away safely. Ladies, especially, please do not stop in that area. It is not safe!!!!

[BUSINESSMAN AND TWO SENIOR POLICE OFFICIALS GRANTED BAIL] Businessman Tariq Downes, the Head of Counter-Intelligence in the South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Intelligence Division Major-General Feroz Khan, and the Gauteng Provincial Head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI), Major-General Ebrahim Ahmed Kadwa, made their first appearance before the Kempton Park Magistrates’ Court on charges of contravening the Precious Metals Act and defeating or obstructing the course of justice. The charges emanate from an incident on 05 May 2021, when Downes was allegedly found in possession of 75.9 grams of unwrought gold, valued at approximately R62 836, at OR Tambo International Airport. During questioning, he allegedly claimed the metal was a brass bar and that he was acting as an undercover agent linked to senior SAPS officials. Investigations allegedly established that no authorised undercover operation involving precious metals existed at the time. The state further alleges that Khan and Kadwa instructed officers to release Downes despite there being no supporting documentation for such an operation. The case was postponed to 14 July 2026 for further investigation. The three were each granted bail of R20 000 with conditions.

General Lebeya unlawfully removed me and promoted General Kadwa into the position of head of Gauteng Hawks. He also promoted Senona into the position of KZN Head of Hawks. Both were appointed on 1 August in 2020. Now, these two are facing serious criminal charges and appeared at #MadlangaCommission to answer on other issues. As the Romans say, ‘Acta deos numquam mortalia fallunt’ - mortal deeds never deceives the gods!

It was called The Aliens Compliance Order of 1969. A decree issued by the Ghanaian government, under Prime Minister Kofi Abrefa Busia, that mandated all undocumented immigrants to leave the country within 14 days. Enacted on November 18, 1969, the order primarily targeted West African migrants—most notably Nigerians, but also citizens of Togo, Mali, and Burkina Faso.
Redi Tlhabi@RediTlhabi

Yes they did. Ghana expelled a HUGE number of Nigerians, claiming they were taking their jobs and there was crime and economic pressure. They even passed a law to enable this. I forget its name but there was some Aliens what what South Africa has not even come close to that. Nigeria retaliated during its economic crisis in the 1980s and started a campaign sanctioned by its government and president. It was called "Ghana Must Go." The state, government and broader society of South Africa has not even come close to that.

lol. Funny. It’s the truth too sadly. Btw this video has 1 million likes on TikTok. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. It’s obvious younger generations completely relate with this frustration.

A 1993 US court judgment reveals Nigerian 🇳🇬 President Bola Tinubu forfeited $460,000 linked to heroin trafficking by Chicago kingpins. While his party insists he was never indicted, the sealed documents resurfaced dramatically during the 2023 election cycle. The case, involving over $2 million in accounts tied to drug money laundering, saw renewed attention after journalists and social media accounts shared the court records. The timeline shows how a buried financial forfeiture evolved into a major political controversy, challenging the narrative of a clean record regarding international law enforcement investigations.
Gustavo.@LordVizo__

This makes me wonder if top officials in Nigeria are in anyway involved in the drug trade that their citizens are pushing in South Africa. It seems like South Africa hit a nerve.

Listen, I just love being a mom. The best part of Mother's Day is getting all the texts from my boys. Even my son's friends text to wish me a good day. Best thing ever. And most call me ma, not aunty. Love it!!
