@DiogenesLaertus Get out you illiterate. If you owe $1 in 2023 at 400 Naira exchange rate and the FX rate peg was removed same year and exchange rate moved to 1,500 Naira. You $1 debt n Naira terms is now N1,500. Does that mean you borrowed additional 1,100 Naira?

Tomorrow, 2nd May 2026, history will be made as Victor Attah International Airport records its first international flight from Uyo to Accra, with a return flight scheduled for the following day. The carrier is the state-owned airline, Ibom Air @ibomairlines. Akwa Ibom has truly emerged as a regional aviation hub, thanks to the visionary leadership of Umo Eno and the solid foundation laid by past leaders. See more pictures in the comment section 👇

On behalf of the Government and people of Lagos State, I express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council for the approval of Phase 1A of the Lagos Green Line Rail Project. This project is a significant milestone for our state. The Green Line will span approximately 68 kilometres, linking Marina to the Lekki Free Trade Zone, with about 17 stations serving key locations including Victoria Island, Ajah, and the wider Lekki corridor. It will serve up to 500,000 passengers daily at inception with the capacity to increase to about one million over time. With the ability to move up to 35,000 passengers per hour in each direction, the line will reduce travel time and relieve pressure on our road network. This project reflects our commitment to improving mobility, supporting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life for Lagosians. We value the continued support of the Federal Government and remain focused on delivering a system that meets the needs of our people.

We have commenced the clearing of the railway corridor in partnership with the Lagos State Government as part of our commitment to a cleaner Agege. It is important to note that the railway corridor falls under the responsibility of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), not the Local Government. However, in the interest of public health, safety, and environmental cleanliness, we are taking proactive steps to support the clean-up. This week alone, three large waste bins were evacuated from the corridor. Clearing such a space requires time, coordination, and significant logistics, and we appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents as work continues. Together, we will achieve a cleaner and healthier Agege. #agege #avo #avoisworking #anewagegeisrising

yeah, i'm s'posed to believe Agége has a working LGA chairman. @ganiyuobasa2025 @edward_wonder it takes a day or two to clean this place, and the minimal level of supervision to keep it clean.

Once again, lack of knowledge is the issue. This chart is campaigning for Tinubu 😂 The chart shows that this admin is aggressively clearing Nigeria’s old debt. We are no longer on the IMF debtors list, up to $7 billion in valid foreign exchange backlog has been cleared

From day one, security has been at the core of how we approach governance in Enugu. We have deployed over 150 distress response squad vehicles, established a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre with round-the-clock surveillance of hotspots across the state, and equipped our security agencies with modern communication tools to ensure seamless coordination. Our operatives are also fitted with body cameras to promote accountability and ensure every operation is conducted within the law. We have spared no effort in building a security network that is fit for purpose, so that Ndi Enugu and businesses can feel safe, protected, and confident. 𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲
