Uganda’s aquaculture sector remains strongly anchored on tilapia, with 7,555 grow-out farms, followed by catfish at 4,576. The 2025 Census highlights clear opportunities to diversify into species like mirror carp and others to enhance resilience and market competitiveness. #OpenGovUg

Kampala’s roads are for movement, not storage. The suspension of on-street parking along Kampala & Jinja Road is a strategic step towards reducing congestion, improving safety, and creating a more efficient CBD for everyone. A moving city is a productive city.
