Also witnessed the handing over of a high capacity generator for Karumandi Health centre.

Toured Karumandi Ward where I distributed bursaries for needy students.

Opening Kutus Market in Kabare Ward in the ongoing market improvement program expected to create outlets for our agricultural produce.

It will also improve the business environment thus improving trade and commerce.

The project will give a new face to our towns that become soggy and muddy during the rainy seasons as the storm water will now be managed.

The construction works involve construction and improvement of road drainage,minor road works(tarmacking) and security lighting.

Commissioning Ksh 435 M storm water project to cover Kutus,Wanguru, Kagio,Kianyaga,Kimbimbi,Kagumo,Kianjiru and Kerugoya.

I will continue to support events Kirinyaga 1/2 marathon and Mwea Classic and I believe this is just but the beginning.

Athletes will receive uniforms and training kits worth Ksh 350,000.

I thanked him for doing Kirinyaga county proud and the inspiration he has given to other potential athletes.

I presented him with a cash token and a champion's trophy to motivate him and others.

I was happy to receive our latest hero and Amsterdam Marathon champion Daniel Kinyua Wanjiru.
