What do you notice about NRG's most popular Valorant videos? None of them are about esports. Not a single one of their most popular videos require knowing who NRG is, what their roster looks like, or whether they're winning competitively. These viewers didn't arrive as NRG fans. They arrived through formats legible to anyone who plays Valorant. Some fraction of that audience converted into organizational followers through repeated exposure. This is the superfan pipeline: casual viewers enter through universally legible content, repeated exposure builds attachment, and a small cohort converts into fans of the team who drive organizational loyalty. Most esports content speaks only to people already inside the pipeline while ignoring the wider audience above it. The content that actually builds fans of teams is the content that doesn't require you to be one yet. Fans of esports teams are made by content that meets them before they care.

I don’t think anyone can prepare you for the grief of losing someone who meant so much to you at one point. It took awhile for me to process if I’m allowed to feel the way I do, or if it’s wrong to feel this way knowing I held so much resentment. Although our relationship ended awhile ago and not on the best of terms, the sadness and ache I feel in my heart hearing the news is something I’ve never experienced. Tyler and I dated for awhile and knowing he’s permanently gone is a feeling I really can’t describe. Never did I really think we’d ever talk again, but now knowing that is true for the wrong reason weighs heavily on my chest. Losing him in just my life was hard to move on from, but losing him in this world is something I’ve yet to process fully. Austen was one of the realest friends I ever had and always had my back. Truly cannot think of anyone else who cares for his friends and family as much as Austen did. He was such a silly guy and his drunk calls always made me laugh. I will never forget our conversations. Whether they were about life and love, or about stupid shit and us sending pics of our dogs to each other back and forth arguing whose is cuter. I’ll forever love and miss you, you will always be my dawg. Rest easy♥️

Tyler was one of the first people I met in this game that I could call my friend and was always a fun person to be around. I remember all the LANS we used to go to and the countless hours we’d play val and other variety games. Those were some of the happiest years of my life. I’m fucking heartbroken. With a broken heart I write this message to everyone that sadly my best friend @symstar and our good friend Austen sadly passed away late last night in a car accident. Tyler was celebrating his 21st birthday trip. I know he brought laughs and smiles to a lot of people and If any you have a nice memory or interaction with him please feel free to share it. Yea the title they did was a bit clickbait but I pretty much agree with everything you said there. Obviously don't go to school to get a degree you're not gonna use. But if it actually makes sense in your backup plan to go through school and you want to still compete then collegiate is a safe option with little downside depending on the extent of the scholarship. And again, I emphasized that few are lucky enough but there are absolutely players in T3 now that are so skilled and could absolutely justify betting on themselves and taking some gap years. The target audience in my head when I did this interview was your average 18 year immortal player that wants to decide between going to school or doing T3 Valorant. Just trying to spread some awareness that you can do both with some monetary benefits.

Holy shit this may the dumbest title ever. If you want go pro a sport, be it traditional or a game, you’re going to have to bet on yourself somehow someway. I never went to college and it worked out just fine, but if you can get a useful degree while playing and it’s good for you? Do it. But don’t go into debt into a school with a subpar programs just because you can play VALORANT there either.
