@chegrimandi I had the same issue John. Just went into saved tickets and purchased and the pending disappeared after a couple of days.

Anyone having problems with their tickets for Wigan in the cup? I got a message from the club saying I haven’t purchased it despite being in the cup scheme. Bank says my payment has been ‘pending’ since the 16th when club was due to take it.

@laythy29 @GoonerFanzine Lovely words there. I have bought The Gooner since 1990 and Steve’s was always the first column I read, hard hitting, thoughtful and honest. Wish I’d met the man. You can see there’s a lot of love for him. RIP Steve and my condolences to the family.

Steve Ashford, who wrote the Highbury Spy column in The Gooner for over 30 years, has sadly died after a prolonged health battle. A total one-off and a guy you couldn’t help but enjoy the company of. I’ll miss you so much mate. At least your pain is over now. Rest In Peace 🙏🙏🙏

Stopped off in Thirsk for a quick cuppa. Really friendly place. Had a nice chat about football, and the Arsenal, as well as cricket, with a lovely local couple I bumped into after they heard my accent and enquired what took me to Thirsk. A lovely little town 👍🏼
