Barbell squat & trap bar jumps look to increase your explosive strength & importantly, will improve explosive hip extension which is a foundation of athletic movement & the golf swing
There is a good correlation between vertical jump take off momentum & ⬆️ Clubhead speed 😃👍🏼💪🏼
A great exercise for the wrist & forearms is the kettlebell resistance band Wrist roller (This can be done with any type of weight)
The emphasis can be on flexors, extensors or both & be used as part of rehab, preventative & conditioning programmes
'Partial squats from the rack are a great way to get high loads through a player in a golf specific range of motion. A limited range also means the player is likely to take on less overall fatigue than a full depth squat - making the exercise a great in-tournament option'
