My Kikuyu wife walked into our home and somehow became everyone’s favorite without forcing it. My mother treats her like the daughter she prayed for, and my father lights up every time she speaks.
The painful part for my brothers is that the old man no longer hides his thoughts. Every small thing she does becomes a lesson, every compliment sounds like a comparison. Sometimes you can almost hear him silently asking himself why the rest of his sons never climbed the mountain too.
She brought peace, respect, warmth and unity into the family so naturally that now family gatherings feel different when she’s around. Even the jealousy is understandable because when parents love someone that deeply, everybody notices.

Wambo from Kirinyaga has been my girlfriend since year 1 in campus. The time to present her to my family came and when I did it the family didn't show her the facial expression. They called me to a secret meeting saying no husband has gone to an old age with a murima beb in our land Nyanza. All the Murima bebs that were married to our people killed the husband and took their kids ,changed their names to murima names and took all the properties. I have never told this woman anything, she is 5 months pregnant and I think she is not the type ok kikuyu women that can kill a husband. She is a different breed. My family concluded that I should never go back with my girl to their place . I have decided to live with my woman in town . So help me God

@ouma_neko This Murima folks were civilised even before mzungu came and they were a democratic society.They are also quick to adapt thus cultures that become redundant are replaced with modern ones borrowed from better societies.Sio kama Uluhyani unapata mila za ujinga ati ju "Babu alisema"

Food alone hupeleka chapa like nonsense na unajua hio ni kitu most people huwa hawa hesabu because its something we spend on without thinking
