I had vivid “replace” my $125 tickets with $1200 when they were going for $300 at the time and they couldn’t tell me why I got that charge. It’s fine if they replace with market value cost. When is a ticket is sold and a game spikes for whatever reason, a seller should not be allowed a get out of jail card. This is something the TTAB will be fighting with some of our friends over @TickPick.

🚨I advise all ticket resellers to make sure you are getting paid on all @StubHub orders. This is very concerning! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Every few months I check my cancellations in the StubHub Inventory Manager (inv.stubhub.com/Transactions 31 - got to "Cancelled" tab") Have noticed a recent trend of cancellations popping up in here without any emails sent out etc. The orders just show up in that "Cancelled" tab, and there's not charges levied, the order just doesn't get paid out. I just spoke with a rep about the few 1 had in this status. Apparently these are instances where SH is automatically buying a seller's tickets as replacement tickets for a buyer whose original seller didn't deliver. Apparently when the buyer comes back and says they don't want the tickets, it leads to SH "quietly cancelling" the order which basically just sits in your account as cancelled and unpaid. I was told you then have to "escalate" these orders for payment, which will come at an undetermined date once they are reviewed by a certain department. Just a heads up for any of you that don't keep a close eye on this type of stuff. StubHub is always up to something new and fraudulent.
