Anyone talking about prices of New York Knicks Finals tickets are just trying to get a nice click bait. They have not had their presales or onsales yet. Only tickets listed are from season ticket holders. Tickets of course will be setting records, but let’s see what they price their tickets at.

@ChrisThompsonNJ They have a nice deal for Ed now. But so many primary tickets, I just can’t see the prices not being marked lower closer. Alex Warren has surprisingly done better than I thought he would but still think you’ll be able to snag a solid deal for him.

@BVill81 Because there are thousands of tickets that likely are added to the secondary market soon. That will greatly impact prices there where people are just taking clickbait screenshots from.

@BVill81 Literally I wrote only season ticket holders. The fan first chase presale and fan first presale has not happened yet. Neither has the onsale.

@thefrownyface I’d guess $1600, but just taking a pure guess. A lot of factors, day of week, first 2 games of the series will be away. Price will fluctuate some based on those results. Also see what happens to the face value tickets released by the team.

@Ticket_Help2022 Reminds me of working at StubHub in 2015 when the Rangers made the Stanley Cup Finals. Lots of demand, brokers pricing high and buyers panicking way to far in advance of the 48 hours prior to each home game.

@darrenrovell Knicks label the actual courtside seats as VIP and is row AA. The other are listed with D for Delta Sky360 club. Someone sitting in 6D row 4 is not courtside.

The last time the Knicks were in the Finals (1999), Madison Square Garden had 90 courtside seats. This year? 704! Seven rows on each side. On the bench side it goes: AA, BB, A, 1, 2, 3, 4 On the opposite side it goes: AA, A, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

This is wild. @Ticketmaster has an "interested buyer" offering to buy tickets from fans that I assume are just going to be scalped somewhere else after they pay below market. This is a horrible look! Also Ticketmaster is keeping 15% for a fee.
