Is anyone REALLY looking for a 4-hour work week? Don't people just want enough control and freedom to work on what they want, when and with whom they want?

@AlexHormozi Not to mention, it's easier now to learn than it ever will be. Foundational learning today will save you months of learning later.

Friendly reminder that AI will never be worse than it is right now. If you assume any rate of improvement over any reasonable period - learning how to use it becomes your #1 priority.

@thejustinwelsh Very true, except those of us who always bucked structure - saw it as a major limiter vs a net-net positive. Is it even possible for those that are habituated to structure can change? I'm skeptical.

Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur until they realize nobody cares about them. There's no orientation. No performance reviews. No one is checking to see if you showed up. Most people can't handle that. They need the structure more than they'll ever admit.

Is this true? People join causes for 8 Billion people based on deflecting dissatisfaction with their own lives?

Your level of confidence dictates how other people treat you.

Having money lets you walk away from situations and people that hold you back.

Know your strengths.

Are you hearing? Most don’t listen. Some don’t hear. Few actually understand. You can stand out by listening, hearing and understanding. Really!

One thing about living up here in Canada...each time we have bad/cold weather, I double down and 10x my productivity. No beach distractions here😀

You have a REAL shot! But, it means you have to give up what you have today, get out of your comfort zone for 6-12 months and work harder than you ever have in your life. You CAN do it, will you?

@KennyCarmody Truth to that for sure. Also think it accelerated 3 things 1) People became lazy/fat trusting institutions - total dependence. 2) Media totally corrupt vs “sort of” 3) Many hate themselves for being duped but can’t admit it - so they take it out on others.

COVID did not make people insane. It just revealed who already was. It pulled back the curtain on the neighbours who reported each other for walking in the park. The colleagues who gleefully enforced every new restriction with a zeal that had nothing to do with public health. The friends who cut off people they had known for decades for asking a single question. The family members who chose compliance over love without a moment of hesitation. The authoritarian instinct was always there. The cruelty was always there. The desperate need to belong to the side with the loudest voice and the official approval, that was always there too. COVID did not create any of it. It just gave it permission. And what was revealed in those years about human nature, about the ease with which ordinary people abandon principle under social pressure, about how quickly a society will turn on its own, that is something we should be studying far more seriously than we are. Because the conditions that brought it out once can be created again. And the people who showed you who they were during that time? Believe them.
