@badgraphix Death Stranding is a singleplayer game with online components. Dark Souls, Elden Ring etc. where people leave notes for each other in the SP world. Another one could like a plane spotting game that pulls air traffic data from flight radar.

This is actually a really popular opinion but there are plenty of good reasons that a singleplayer game *could* require an internet connection , almost none of which are actually the reasons they often do
