@PunishedAG This is a poor response, because it engages with the post as if it weren't entirely fabricated. You're being baited into defending "attacks" on children, when the issue is that those "attacks" are entirely made up in the first place.

@Pirat_Nation Yeah? Characters in children's media quite commonly display romantic attraction to other characters. There are literally children's media that entirely center around love stories.

@Kalebjayboss You don't even have to go that far. Characters in kids media can have and display attraction to others - just like how those kids' parents display basic attraction to each other and how kids see people displaying basic attraction fore each other when they are out and about.

@4nt1p4tt3rn The major flaw with this conclusion is very obviously that children born to American citizens are automatically American citizens themselves, irrespective their place of birth. So the entire "born [...] in the United States"-portion would be nonsense with that reading.

Prior to the existence of the Congressional Record, it was called the Congressional Globe. Therefore, I give you, from the 1866 Congressional debates regarding the passage of the 14th Amendment: “This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of embassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.” — Sen. Jacob Howard, Congressional Globe, 39th Cong., 1st Sess., p. 2890 (May 30, 1866) “The provision is, that ‘all persons born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens.’ That means ‘subject to the complete jurisdiction thereof.’ … What do we mean by ‘subject to the jurisdiction of the United States?’ Not owing allegiance to anybody else. That is what it means.” — Sen. Lyman Trumbull, Congressional Globe, 39th Cong., 1st Sess., p. 2893 (May 30, 1866) “Now, all that this amendment provides is, that all persons born in the United States and not subject to some foreign Power … shall be considered as citizens of the United States.” — Sen. Reverdy Johnson, Congressional Globe, 39th Cong., 1st Sess., p. 2893 (May 30, 1866) There is no question whatsoever: The 14th Amendment was passed with the full understanding, as captured by the very words of those voting on it, that citizenship for births is only granted to children born of American citizens.

@AlexThomp @RealDeanCain They didn’t make a typo. The headline depends on the words ‘American without America’. It’s beyond embarrassing for the NYT. It shows a decayed standard of reality.

@swissfamilyp @mushycrouton How in the world are you arguing that the existence of trans people "erases homosexuality" in response to a tweet that literally point out that lots of trans people themselves are gay?!?

@mushycrouton You’re not listening Sam. By claiming the existence of a “gendered soul” akin to a pseudo religion, you are saying that biological sex is irrelevant in relationships. That erases homosexuality. Only bisexuals don’t mind what sex their partner is.

@PotatoMcWhiskey @badgraphix Don't know about Death Stranding, but none of the major FromSoft games *require* an internet connection. There are just optional aspects of the game that don't happen without it, but it's perfectly playable.

@badgraphix Death Stranding is a singleplayer game with online components. Dark Souls, Elden Ring etc. where people leave notes for each other in the SP world. Another one could like a plane spotting game that pulls air traffic data from flight radar.

@HodsonAnn @Matisyahu1948 @supergeekmike Thankfully for all of us, your imagination doesn't override actual reality. And as such, women, who have been women for their entire lives, don't suddenly stop being women, because they don't seem womanly enough to you.

Justice Alito once again nails it… If a Chinese or Iranian person enters our country illegally and has a child here, their child is automatically a citizen of that foreign nation, and is even required to fight for that nation. How are they not "subject to" a foreign nation?

@animalologist I get that that answer might still get you in trouble, but "You with her body (if there is no way to avoid the body swap)" seems like a really easy and obvious answer, because you should generally be in a relationship if you like the person, not only if you find them attractive.

@JackPosobiec That would be very odd indeed - especially given that the entire question on birthright citizenship centers entirely around the moment of birth. So why would there be any arguments of the rights of the unborn? It's almost like your talking complete bullshit.

@Matisyahu1948 @supergeekmike "Would you let your daughter fight against a top Olympic boxer?" If the daughter is an amateur boxer, probably not, because Olympic boxers would be way out of her league. But if she wants to box at the highest level, she will have to compete against the best at some point, yes.

@GrandPotato76 @mythbinks @47People @sweetposting Wrong in the sense that it's not at all the gooning the OP is referring to. You're right, gooning isn't connected to goons which is where you should've realized something. The gooning the OP is referring to means edging/ jerking off for hours on end. Totally unrelated
