Because without Satan, the whole story just falls apart. There’s no antagonist left to carry the blame, no “evil” to contrast God against. At that point it just becomes God vs humans, and that version doesn’t really hold up the same way. Every fictional story we already know follows the same structure to keep it interesting: Spider-Man vs Doctor Octopus. Avengers vs Thanos. Batman vs Joker. Remove the villain and the hero suddenly stops feeling like a hero. There’s nothing left to compare against, nothing to justify the “good guy” label. Religion isn’t different, sis. Satan plays that same role, the necessary opposing force that makes salvation, forgiveness, and divine justice even make sense in the first place. Without him, the whole setup loses contrast… and the story basically ends for good.

@Atomsmade Im not saying your point isnt valid. Just to be careful how you word it. For Thanos, his villians were Ironman/ Thor and starlord. To the audience thanos was thr villian but it was his story being told and in his eyes, he was the good guy.

Nice try, but I know u are just playing with definitions. Thanos being the protagonist doesn’t make him the good guy, it just means the story followed him. He still needed opposition. Take away Thor, Iron Man, and the rest, and there’s no story. My point is still valid: No opposition = no narrative.
