@Absolutemtb1 2…,Gear changing jumpy from the start then then slipping then thrown off when trying 1st gear, might have bent derailleur! Is it normal to replace 11 with 12 or is the frame / wheel only built to take one or the other? Asking so I don’t go in like a kn*b.

@Grandy_65 If you have 11 speed then yes, most definitely an 11 speed cassette should’ve been replaced. All of that sounds like shoddy work tbh, especially after paying £300!

@Absolutemtb1 and mtb community, paid LBS £300 yesterday rode 1 mile today chain off twice, back wheel not trued (part of gold service), my 11x cassette worn replaced with 12x, didn’t notice til riding, didn’t ask for, we agreed on a small chainring. 1/
