Yzerman inherited a horrible team with a somehow even worse prospect pool. He has definitely improved the roster and the prospects. But after 7 seasons, it is time to actually start seeing results. What's more disappointing is how complacent the fan base has become. #lgrw

Quick update from what I'm seeing in Detroit-land. 1) Lions, playing well getting key wins when MANY people thought it was fucked with the OC and DC leaving. 2) Not enough trades at the deadline to get the Tigers looking like a contender. Seems like it was correct for the org to not push the chips in this year. 3) The Red Wings have a youth movement hype literally never seen before in the 100 year history of the franchise, MANY drafted prospects starting to get their legs under themselves, and a ton of cap space. I don't care if you believe me or not, but to me it looks like the best you'll EVER have it. Wild time to be smelling your own intestines with your head in your ass. Cheers!

There is not a bigger indictment of the state of NHL officiating than this 19-second clip. The league should be embarrassed by this, but I doubt it is.
