Podle Institutu pro studium války (ISW) se v dubnu 2026 ruské jednotky stáhly z pozic o rozloze 116 kilometrů čtverečních. Jedná se o první zaznamenanou územní ztrátu tohoto rozsahu od srpna 2024.
Ruská armáda začala ztrácet to, co dříve dobyla. Pro Moskvu je to obzvláště nepříjemný signál: po měsících tlaku a pokusů o zmáčknutí fronty se objevují náznaky, že držet linii je stále obtížnější.

Burkina Faso is drastically cutting prisons nationwide – only high-risk facilities for murderers, serious criminals and the most dangerous offenders will remain.
Prison sentences for petty crimes are being banned.
Petty offenders will be turned into farmers to work the fields and feed the state.
The country plans to keep fewer than 5 prisons across the entire nation.
This raises a bigger question for Africa:
Should prisons only punish… or should they also create value?
