@CaliRN619 Well, most of the baby boomers in my extended family are ultra conservative, but every family seems to have a family member with stage four TDS. I just make it a point to be kind since I know they are uniformed.

My Boomer Auntie, who is a very loving and kind hearted person is a Democrat that hates Trump and MAGA with a passion and attended a recent #NoKings rally. To her, loving people means letting illegals stay, increasing food stamps/welfare, giving tax dollars to poor countries, and taxing the “rich” to fund all programs. When I try to explain to her how her ideals actually hurt people, she dismisses it as right wing propaganda. No amount of evidence or reasoning will persuade her to consider any other viewpoint. I’m convinced there was some sort of brainwashing drug that was administered to Boomers and activated during COVID. Either that or there was something seriously wrong with their LSD supply.
