@gta_drag @SeaOfThieves @S0nicbob What's the point of your 160k doubloons if you have nowhere to spend them? Rare haven't cared about hoarding those for 5-6 years (except for newcomers who joined in the late seasons). I have 60k, but I have absolutely nowhere to spend them.

We're gearing up to reset the Doubloon economy, preparing to add more requirements before new pirates can access Faction Battles via the Hourglass, and working on improving player encounter rates. All this and more in Production Director Drew's first Developer Update of 2026!

@Lotus_Koril @SeaOfThieves I didn't express myself quite correctly. I like the idea of ​​events rotating from time to time. Currently, the pool of such events is small. And the fact that it will be live for one month and then waiting for the next one doesn't make the situation much better.
