That's a bit uncharitable and goes against evidence. IAF is the only service to have moved to make 15% of its primary war fighting platforms uncrewed with the Ghatak UCAV AON. It has heavily invested in one way attack (OWA) drones as well. Not just one, but multiple programs. One can draw sweeping conclusions from the views of one retired officer, or, see what the organisation is actually upto, and then conclude.

while I greatly admire our Air Force ( my late husband was an @IAF pilot), they tend to be the most resistant to change. I recall innumerable fights during my days at the top, with the Air Force digging into thier position. Too much of 'top gun' mentality, forgetting that the ace pilot story will soon be as dead as the dodo.
