Climate change is real... happens every season. Look up studies on Antarctic core samples. They are finding bubbles that they are able to study the makeup of what the atmosphere looked like. They put together a graph of global temperatures from the last 485 million years that show the temperatures are cyclical in nature. The talk now is to find a way to remove carbon from the atmosphere, which sits at about 430 PPM or 0.043%. Most land-based plants require a minimum of roughly 150 parts per million (ppm) of atmospheric to survive, with levels below this causing widespread plant death. While current levels support life, plant growth is often optimized in greenhouse environments with concentrations of 1,000–1,200 ppm. now I'm not saying that we don't need to be good stewards. Instead of trying to fix the earth by forcing the cleanest countries to be more clean, let's narrow down and fix countries that produce smog. That will have a noticable difference in the lives of the locals. If that doesn't happen, then all the green movements are nothing but a scam looking to grab as much taxpayer funding they can from the richest countries.

@Maga4liberty What would they be taxing? Their income? Their capital gains? Their total worth? If it is Their income, most don't take a paycheck. If it's capital gains, would it affect 401k's? If it's total worth, Their worth is tied up in business and investments.

The problem in American Healthcare is not the Healthcare. It's the insurance. They set the prices. I've heard of many stories that the uninsured will have cheaper rates. I wish we could get off the insurance system and go with a strictly capitalist system where they have to make their services cost more sensible. Also it would provoke a price reduction in many cases. Why would you deliver a baby at hospital A when hospital B is is running a special that will save you 1000 dollars. Look at Lasic surgery. When it first came out it was something like 10,000 per eye. Now it's really affordable. Lasic is not covered by insurance.

She was charged $1,283.40 for stepping foot in the ER - A 2 minute check in talk at Labor and Delivery cost $1,283 - She had a 1 hour unmedicated delivery, no epidural, nothing. $8,349 - Laboratory $2,500 - A bunch of other random charges Cost for 1 hour delivery, no medication: $14,546.76 Luckily she already met her insurance deductible so they covered a decent amount but she still owes thousands
