I politely declined and said, "I'm sorry, but I prefer the aisle seat." Good thing he left it at that. I was prepared to argue. He doesn't need to sit with his mom, he's grown. His mother is with his father and siblings, and I was sitting beside his brother. Maybe if he was on an aisle seat or one with extra leg room, I would have said yes. People need to choose seats before their flights and not bother other passengers. He's going to be fine for the 6-hour flight away from his family.

It finally happened to me. On my flight this morning, I noticed a family started to sit around me. This is the plane seat plan: ABC DEFG HIJ I'm on aisle seat C. They were sitting on B DEFG. One of them suddenly appeared beside my face and asked, "This is my family and I want to sit with them. Is it okay to switch seats? I'm on a window seat." First of all, that's too close to my face. Second, I paid for my seat and I prefer sitting on the aisle when travelling alone. So....
