Weird this. Apparent Kettering hater Billy Sharp giving full credit to the Poppies and their fans for the test they provided Doncaster with today. I reiterate, he’s a class striker and was the difference maker today. Clinical finishing when his team needed it 👍🏻

Last home game of the season. GDFC 1-1 BPW Res Close game with two well matched teams trying to play good football on a poor surface. We have to wait for a week Saturday until our final game against 2nd place Gleneagles 💚

Tomorrow we host newly-crowned league cup winners GLK up the rec. Both teams will be full of confidence and should be a cracker! Would have been Cat’s birthday this week, so hopefully we can put on a performance for him💚

A resilient performance ended in an entertaining draw with second place gleneagles. An early goal from Ted followed by 3 eagles goals gave us a lot to do. Showed good character to get 1 back via Max from the spot and a hectic last min scramble saw Muck net the equaliser 💚

The tough run continues as we host 2nd place Gleneagles up the rec this evening. 6:30pm kick off 💚

Tough afternoon against a good GLK side saw us slide to a 4-2 defeat. We wish their lad a speedy recovery and all the best for the rest of the season (bar next Saturday of course)

A 20 minute game against @HighamFC first team brings our winning run to an abrupt halt- Losing 3-0 up the rec. Saturday we make the short trip to Gleneagles for another extremely tough game.

Probably the toughest draw we could’ve got in defence of our league cup tomorrow as we make the short journey to Gleneagles tomorrow afternoon. 2 wins on the bounce, gives us good momentum, but will need to be at our very best 💚
