During this #WomensHistoryMonth, the Great North Innocence Project celebrates Cassandra Black Elk, the first woman who was ever exonerated by GNIP. Cassi is a determined, hardworking, and witty woman, mother, sister, auntie, and friend. She was exonerated in January 2023.
