Oh please my brother, WFK said he returned the keyboard bought for the church by someone with questionable character, will WFK be in the house of Secondus former PDP leader commissioning his house?? Will WFK openly identify with a “female pastor” who’s a Muslim, married to someone plugging the country down, or will WFK have so many questionable politicians as pastors?? The other day you said DL doesn’t have these politicians because of the true gospel preached in DL. These are the issues.

Just so you know. If Pastor Adeboye had been speaking, they'll be dragging Pastor Kumuyi today. If Pastor Kumuyi is speaking, they'll face Pst. David Ogbuelli. Then there's Pastor D K Olukoya. We've not even entered the Apostles, and I mean we can go from Pastor to Evangelists to Apostles until we meet Sir Harrison. This is an attack on the church and anything that is done under the umbrella of Christ. Don't think it's about Pastor Adeboye. Nobody will be spared. He's just the person you have today. Don't join them. You're a Christian. He's your brother, and as a brother, He's an elder, and an elder who's a minister. Don't join the world to throw unscrupulous words against him. He has ccontributed significantly to the growth of the faith in this country and the winning of souls. He deserves honor most especially for something as trivia as speaking up against bad political leadership. He's not the problem. The church is not. It will never be.

That Rev Gideon’s message at IEC yesterday, play it on repeat a thousand times. Anytime you want to argue with either a full blown cessationist or a quasi charismatic, listen to the sermon first. Space Dey. Let the prophets speak. Let all prophesy.

Hear the tone of the average pulpit, it's a tone of "we are great," "we are gods," "we are glorious," And the brag is not because we are God's people, it's because we are confident in the gold and glamour we have accumulated by our sinful strategies and mammonic worship. Again, we are more designed for showbiz than for intercession.

In my itineraries, I've observed how difficult it is to sustain moments of sobriety for reflection and repentance. You can preach the heart of God and get people weeping on their seats, and then as you close your session, a moderator comes up and with a clownish "Plaise tha lord, Now its time to give God a dance offering".... Every bit of repentance you were trying to build collapses because the showbiz schedule is more important than the burdens of God.

Try and work on your attention span o. E don dey go o but in more serious terms, you cannot make certain technical topics too short because of the importance. So not every video can be short. This was meant to educate and not just entertain.

There is a guy named Tunde in Lagos. When Tunde first moved to Lagos, he was soft. The first time someone tapped his window in traffic and said, “Oga, abeg help me,” he wound down, asked questions, even bought food. He felt good about it. But Lagos does not give you only one moment. It gives you many. The next day another person. At the next junction two more. At the bus stop three. “Oga, anything…” “Help me na…” “I haven’t eaten since morning…” At first, he tried. But something happened one afternoon. He was at a traffic light in Lekki. One boy came. He gave him ₦500. Before he could raise the glass another came. Then another. Then a woman with a baby. Then two more boys knocking from the other side. It felt like pressure. Not kindness anymore Pressure. That day, he drove off… irritated. Not just tired Irritated. From that day, something changed. The next time someone knocked he didn’t wind down. The next time someone called he looked straight. The next time someone begged he acted like he didn’t hear. At first, it felt wrong. But Lagos has a way of training you. After a while… it became normal. One evening, Tunde was walking home. A small girl, maybe 8 years old, came to him. “Oga please… I’m hungry.” He didn’t even look at her. He just said, “I don’t have.” And kept walking. But a few steps later, something hit him. Because it wasn’t that he didn’t have. He did. He had more than enough to help that girl. The truth was he didn’t even consider it. That was when it scared him. Not that he refused. But that he didn’t feel anything while refusing. Lagos had done something to him. Not his money His heart. And this is the danger many believers are not seeing. The constant begging is not just testing your pocket. It is slowly training your heart to ignore people. So even when the need is real you have already built the habit of looking away. But as a Christian, you must fight this. Because CHRIST never became too used to people’s needs. He never got so surrounded by problems that He stopped caring. So yes You may not give to everyone. You cannot solve every problem. But you must never reach a point where: You don’t look anymore. You don’t feel anymore. You don’t care anymore. Because the day you stop feeling is the day something of CHRIST in you has started dying. So your prayer in Lagos should not just be, “LORD provide for me.” It should also be, “LORD… don’t let this city harden my heart.”

When God was making a statement to all mankind about the Lordship of the Resurrected Lord and Christ through a newly born church at the time, that statement was made on the day of Pentecost. Pentecost was a unique Jewish feast but on this day, God was making a statement that His Gift is available to all mankind of every nation under the earth, as many as he would call. On this day an announcement was made in a manner that mesmerised the folks who heard it and it was followed by an intelligently delivered sermon situated in its relevant context. Heaven did its part and there were men down here to do their own. That should tell us two things: 1. The church cannot be barren of supernatural manifestations which are evident to the unchurched and a consequence of the promise of the Spirit. 2. The Church cannot be barren of the well presented and contextually situated exposition of the whole counsel of God. By the Church I mean both Church Universal and the local Church. How we know that the Church is true is that signs are present in the church and the word of God is taught in truth contextually relevant. Any Church that lacks either lacks both as these two are like Siamese twins joined at the torso sharing the same essential organs. To separate them is to kill them both. Jesus was described as “doing and teaching” (Acts 1:1). The Apotles Peter and John, did and taught. (Acts 3:6-8 & 12-26). Paul says he fully preached the gospel of Christ by word and deed. And by ‘deed’ he meant mighty signs and wonders by the power of the Spirit of God. (Romans 15:18-19). It is Doctrine and Power. You cannot separate them. The evidence the doctrine is true is in the power that can be seen. If a church has visible power and no doctrine it is not the power of the Spirit. If a church has doctrine and no visible power it is either the doctrines of men or of devils. These two cannot be separated. They cannot. It is why as a minister, if you’re called to do ministry, never settle for a sign less gospel. The fathers before us did not do it like that. Tarry until you’re endued with power. Don’t take off because you have learnt some Greek grammar. The oppressed are not delivered because you can spell Euangelistace in the original language. What thing with the Holy Ghost is that he is not far from them that call on him. We are the generation of them that call upon the name of the God of Jacob.

@Bishopofoau I get you're not catholic and I didn't want to drag this dialogue to this point but does this logic hinge on the assumption that dancing and singing are inherently incompatible with solemnity and contemplation? What is wrong with dancing and singing in worship to God during lent?

@Bishopofoau Question sir. Why do they have to refrain from observing? Is there anything inherently wrong with their participation?

Nonetheless, those of other traditions that observe Lent should simply refrain from participating in the Hallelujah Challenge. Ko ju be lo.

Imagine Ballaam telling the donkey, "How dare you talk to me? Don't you know there's ranking in the spirit? There's spiritual ranking". Elihu understood what he was saying when he said he thought old age would speak wisdom. Because actually, foolish people grow old too 🥲

My God, please save this man 🙏🥹 What exactly is happening to Pastor Kingsley? Jesus please save him. I think he should just stick strictly to being a relationship & marriage expert which he is very good at. He shouldn’t be a pastor imo

What is this? This your post is even worse than the post you are addressing. For a sect of people who easily spot fallacies, how's "Pentecostalism today produces false Christians" not a fallacy of hasty generalization? And the reformed tradition doesn't produce false Christians?

You people should stop comparing Christians to Muslims. We’re not the same. We won’t fight for an earthly kingdom. Moreover, Nigerian Christians didn’t sit down and watch. It was clear that the mandate was stolen. 2023 was just two years ago. We all saw in broad daylight how the mandate of the people was snatched. Even at that most of the votes finally recorded were votes against the current sitting monarch. Our Lord didn’t teach us to fight for a kingdom that is temporary. We are only obeying him. The emperors before this one thought they’ve conquered too, but anytime Christ goes into the arena with a Caesar, Caesar always loses.
Chimezie Uzoukwu@Chimeziiee

The fact that Nigerian Christians sat back and watched that Muslim–Muslim ticket emerge, tells you how politically conquered they are. Nigerian Muslims would never have allowed a Christian–Christian ticket to even see the light of the day. Yet, they gaslit you into silence by telling you not to bring religion into politics; while they anchor their own politics on religion.
