How To Contend In Dynasty🏈 Contrary to the masses, I believe a true contender has draft capital to make those late runs into the season. I like to call this “ammo” I’ve seen way too many times for contenders to have a few injuries derail their entire season.

A true contender should have players in their primes while also having “ammo” (a 1st and a couple 2nds) to truly make that run for a championship and adapt as the season goes on

So before labeling your team a contender or saying that your picks are guaranteed to be late, make sure you have a backup plan with draft capital to solidify your run for the year. Consider draft capital as liquid where you don’t necessarily need to make a pick.

I still constantly see their players falling to or past their ADP in Best Ball contests - I've also had no issues trading for their players in my Dynasty leagues This team will have the biggest single-season OL improvement in the league in 2026 - Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater return - They added C Tyler Biadasz from the Commanders They hired the most highly sought-after OC coaching candidate this offseason (Mike McDaniel) - More 2 WR sets = more fantasy points for those 2 receivers Justin Herbert was an MVP candidate behind the worst OL in football last season - Now he has an OL upgrade + coaching upgrade + top-tier weapons around him If this team can stay healthy, they could very easily be a top-5 scoring offense in the league

Travis Kelce just signed a three year $54.7 million extension to stay with the Chiefs. From a dynasty perspective, this is exactly what contending managers needed to hear. Kelce is turning 37 this year and retirement rumors were everywhere, but this deal locks him in with Patrick Mahomes for the immediate future. I would not be paying a multi year price tag, as this is still a year to year situation. If you are making a title push, he is a nice asset to help you win now. If your team is currently rebuilding, this contract gives you the perfect window to sell him to a contender who needs guaranteed points this season.

@GreenFantasy247 I think the player who can play defense, a position the Jaguars need help in, wont be a featured on offense. BTJ is not your middle of the field kind of player, that’s Meyers and Washington’s area.
