@NewForestDog This was how I learnt to make it too. We had old concrete laundry tubs with so much mint and only used it for roast lamb.

Garden edging is made from ordinary bricks transformed into custom "book" shapes, painted to resemble spines of classic novels.

@KirstiMiller30 Absolutely! And we used to play it on roller skates at the 2pm Saturday session at our skating rink. I’m in Brisbane. Late 70’s early 80’s.

I grew up in Wagga Wagga where the kids growing up used to play a game called "Red Rover Cross Over". It was mainly a boys game where all the boys would gather in a group at the end of the playground with one boy standing in the middle of the playground. He'd yell "Red Rover Cross Over” and all the other kids had to run to the other end of the playground without being caught. The kid in the middle had to catch and hold one of them while yelling "caught 123" The kid caught would then join the kid in the middle for the next call of "Red Rover Cross Over" during which both kids in the middle would catch another kid who would stay in the middle and so on. The last kid caught would win the game and he'd be the one to stay in the middle for next round. It was good fun (my three daughters used to play it most afternoons with me) while giving the kids exercise and training for future rugby teams or other sports. Can anyone else recall playing the same game?

I am looking for a unique venue in Adelaide for a unique 2 day event. Must have: one room that can hold 100ppl & 3 break out rooms that can hold approx 20ppl each. On site catering & accommodation a bonus, ideally CBD or close. Comfortable, friendly relaxed & a nice outdoor space would be nice too. Drop your recommendations below:

“The moon comes up. The moon goes down. This is to inform you that I didn’t die young. Age swept past me but I caught up.” Barking by Jim Harrison Today is my 70th birthday…. (god knows how that happened so fast)…. so I am in reflective mood.

@blindandb0ujee I had one out yesterday - on a list with kids getting their wisdom teeth out. Every parent promised their kid KFC potato and gravy after. I felt ripped off - had made my own earlier in the morning. So if you can - plan to get your collector to drive through on the way home

@JustAndy4849 Thinking of you all. Biggest hugs. We went to a field and blew bubbles to heaven telling the littlies about Pop. Often go blowing bubbles to heaven and talk to Pop. Follow it with icecream which is what the littlest ones remember about him.

They've been to Rosie's mum's flat, got fire brigade to break in. She'd been there a while, apparently 🫤

@AngieBeatDown Everything soft and smooth and ice to keep an ice pack on your face to minimise the swelling. And some preprepared food for everyone else in case you’re feeling sore and not wanting to cook.

@GreeneFiona I do that too. But guide dogs think it’s him acting out as Stephen hasn’t been away this long at once before! He’s all away been scavenger but not this bad. Tudor is on a food called “satiety” by royal canin 120g twice a day

Tudor passed his MOT today: hes good to keep working for now. he’s dropped further on the scales too, so he’s not too far off now! Hopefully when Stephens back his attempts to pinch food will stop too.

@AngieBeatDown Yeah Jade is loosing too but she’s hungry. She never looked on counters before but now she’s discovered them nothing is safe. Trying slow feeders and bulking her food up with empty calories. I wonder if Tudor misses Stephen and is consoling himself with snacks (I’d do that)

@GreeneFiona Ooh gosh! Tudor when Stephen left at the end of august began pinching food at every opportunity! I didn’t realise how bad it got until he saw the skin docs with guide dogs and he was more than I thought he weighed in just a few weeks! He’s lost it pretty quickly though
