Can you imagine time traveling back to the 1990s, when doctors were taught that pain was the 5th vital sign? There was a time when clinicians couldn’t tolerate watching a patient sit in agony. If someone came into the ER doubled over, crying, begging for help, relieving pain wasn’t optional. It was the job. Somewhere along the way, the culture shifted. Now a person can be on the floor in visible agony, and nothing about it guarantees help is on the way. A grown man on the floor of a hospital waiting room, on his knees, folded over himself, crying out in pain, begging for help, while everyone around moves like he isn’t even there. And now, you don’t have to imagine it anymore. You’re looking at it. This is what ERs across the United States look like today. One day, this could be you. Or someone you love.

Yes. And those people deserve to be seen too, but casting doubt on patients who are having a real medical emergency involving pain cannot continue. So the answer seems obvious that they need to be separated into different buildings. The one for people who are there just for pain meds can be tied to rehabs or treatment centers if they want. Because you have to remember that most of these people were put on the meds by a doctor in the first place. Maybe tie in the offer of Ketamine or Psilocybin to help them get off the meds.

@Greeney_Kay @VinoNStrosGal That’s would be a great option. Also, nobody really wants to be addicted to drugs or alcohol. They closed so many rehabs in the past 10 years. This has really created havoc.

@tymmesalab @socrdoc Nico am I reading what you wrote right, that you are proposing that it be looked at as essentially a disrupted vagal tone to the stomach/enteric nervous system? Would that include a lifetime of GERD, acid reflux, and even low ferritin (malabsorption) for these children?

You may find this of intrigue... The Algorithmic Phenotype: Reframing the Attention-Deficit Epidemic Through Biological Spacetime, Cognitive Offloading, and Visceral-Cognitive Integration Abstract The escalating crisis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) diagnoses has overwhelmed contemporary clinical infrastructures and exposed the limitations of traditional, purely neurogenetic and dopaminergic paradigms. This paper presents a radical theoretical reframing of ADHD, synthesizing the physics of Biological Spacetime with predictive coding models of active inference and visceral-cognitive integration. We propose that the modern digital environment—characterized by hyper-predictive algorithms and generative artificial intelligence—induces severe cognitive offloading. This phenomenon deprives the developing brain of the essential prediction errors required to metabolically maintain a coherent internal cognitive architecture, leading to a state of manifold decoherence and executive dysfunction. Concurrently, we fundamentally redefine ADHD as a neurointestinal syndrome by modeling the electrophysiology of the Enteric Nervous System as an analogue gravity metric tuned by autonomic vagal tone. In this integrated framework, external digital overstimulation and internal physiological dysregulation precipitate gastrointestinal conduction blocks—characterized mathematically as analogue event horizons. This visceral collapse holographically projects into the central nervous system as the profound cognitive fragmentation clinically observed as ADHD. By reconceptualizing the attention-deficit phenotype as a systemic biomechanical adaptation to environmental and visceral collapse rather than an intrinsic biological failure, this analysis advocates for a paradigm shift toward topological diagnostics. We propose the integration of high-resolution electrogastrography and microstructural neuroimaging to accurately diagnose, differentiate, and therapeutically anchor the disrupted neuro-visceral axis.

I respectfully disagree. As a general pediatrician caring for a large neurodiverse population (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, CAPD, concussion, anxiety), I’m seeing a very different reality over the last 5 years. 🧵1/14

Over-diagnosis / misdiagnosis / self-diagnosis of EDS, MCAS, POTS, & Lyme is a real problem, and it would appear that there is little appetite by medical professionals to discuss this issue publicly.

Do you think narcissists can be healed? Have you ever met healed ones? I don't think they can be healed. In my workplace, there are many of them, and they are extremely toxic.

@Greeney_Kay @FreeSlave777 I agree. Most of my parts have been reintegrated. That's why I've been working on my book. Without reintegration the mind can not heal from the trauma and the person will never be whole. And unfortunately most people never address it.

@91_archangel @FreeSlave777 My issue with that particular diagnosis is that most people don’t wait around to get to the part of reintegration. So they just stay as these fractured personalities. Integration is key.

Thanks for being understanding. I'm sorry that happened to your aunt. I know all too well the kind of trauma that causes it. I'm still healing myself. Hence why I'm a bit touchy about it. I'm currently writing a book on the healing process for severe trauma, PTSD and DID based on everything I've learned.

@LaurenceBelfast I have noticed this more too. For example, if sitting close to someone that you know well, and your torus field and theirs are overlapping then reading each others thoughts or some bit of telepathy is happening more now than it did in the past.

I could well believe this. A lot of the time it seems like random people around me can read my thought patterns too. There are some who know exactly what is going on here while the rest of us can only speculate.

@NoFilterSkin I tested this by leaving my phone home while I left my house and went out in the world. No phone means no listening. The algorithm STILL showed me what happened when I left my house. It couldn’t have known if it was just the phone listening, it’s not, it’s the brain.
