.@EurostarUK I arrive 27 mins before the train from Brussels and am denied boarding as a Carte Blanche holder. No queues just jobsworth staff enforcing inflexible rules. Your customer service is non existent.

.@EurostarUK sell through tickets to Pau but when the French leg of the trip is cancelled refuse to reimburse either London-Paris or Paris-Pau. Rip-off and GBP 400 down the drain - like your reputation ... @LouHaigh @SimonCalder @CBTransport

Great that the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (Revenue Support Mechanism) Bill is in the #KingSpeech & the 10% SAF Mandate for 2030 confirmed. @LanzaTech remains committed to building Project Dragon in Port Talbot - now we need the legislation passed quickly @LouHaigh @transportgovuk

Wonderful news from the Lanza family! With @LanzaJet we are providing a joint waste carbon-to-SAF solution in partnership with @HaffnerEnergy! #SAF #CCU #CCUS $LNZA
LanzaJet@LanzaJet

LanzaJet is partnering with @HaffnerEnergy and @LanzaTech on a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (#SAF) project at Paris-Vatry Airport in France. This project will produce approx. 10m gallons of SAF annually, with potential to triple production. Press release: bit.ly/3yRDvYl

@ClimateBeard #Aviation CO2 emissions would be higher WITHOUT the SAF Mandate which also reduces non-CO2 emissions. It creates a market for PtL and waste-based SAF and manages risks from over-reliance on UCO. It's not perfect but a good start! More balance needed @CarbonBrief. @LanzaTech

The UK just dropped a new aviation climate policy, with barely a murmur in the press. Maybe that's because it won't actually reduce emissions vs today, and will see the UK importing millions of tonnes of "used" cooking oil from China, with highly dubious environmental claims...

.@HPUK probably the worst customer service in the UK. Take 3 weeks to send a faulty new laptop and the replacement is faulty too! Your solution, send it back and we'll return it in another 3 weeks! Not good enough! E for effort F for attainment. Surely you can do better?

.@thriftycars overbooking so when I arrive at 2330 in Atlanta my reservation cannot be met. If this is how you treat customers I won’t be one again

Oops...UK slips in EY ranking of best countries for green investment US, Germany, France ahead Due to “diminishing of green policies” that leave "investors with reduced confidence in UK renewables”👀 No shock US leads race with Inflation Reduction Act thetimes.co.uk/article/uk-sli…

Sort of ironic that Fortescue along with fellow Australian mining giants Rio Tinto and BHP have concluded hydrogen is too inefficient and costly to replace diesel off road mining vehicles, choosing battery electric instead. They have concluded that energy efficiency is a key reason for this decision, with direct electrification having an 80% fuel-to-wheel efficiency compared to 30% efficiency from hydrogen fuel cells Why ironic? Unless I am mistaken, JCB plans to power its combustion diggers with Australian hydrogen supplied and heavily promoted by.. Fortescue @MLiebreich hydrogeninsight.com/transport/batt…

A hilarious explainer for why carbon offsets are, in fact, a ridiculous form of greenwashing.

@ClimateBeard ECF funded @transenv to lobby for SAF & specifically energy intensive #P2L targets. Was this a mistake? Would you rather we continue to only use fossil jet fuel?

@ClimateBeard Is it worse than burning fossil fuels even when it emits half the level of CO2 and produces much lower non-CO2 effects? Undoubtedly not perfect - but bad?
