@TomFornelli @CodyNagel247 Having 20 wins or whatever it was deleted didn’t help either.
English

@Jbird582510 @MattHarmon_BYB @RecepPerception He also talks football for a living so doing the actual work gives him first hand knowledge of every receiver to be able to actually talk about the players. What he does is a lot different than the man/zone yprr twits that focus on spitting out analytics

@DevyEusuf Blocking matters because if they can’t then they’re only useful on passing downs. If you’re a tight end that can’t block at all then you’re… a receiver, and you might as well just use a receiver instead of a tight end to play receiver
English

Film bros wanna sound like they're scouting for a real NFL team so of course they have to sound like a real scout and say "blocking matters". So I ask all the film bros, how do you quantify the value of blocking?
Fusue@DevyEusuf
Stowers would be a much better prospect if we stop pretending blocking matters
English

This is one of the wildest combinations of cherry-picked thresholds i’ve ever seen
Adam Carter@impactfbdata
The only WR prospects since 2018 with the following production numbers in their 'best' college season.. 🔘 YPRR vs. man < 4.25 🔘 YPRR vs. zone > 3.60 🔘 Contested catch rate > 50.00% 🔘 Missed tackle rate < 1/3 🔘 < 50.00% out wide rate USC WR Makai Lemon is a prospect I'll be significantly lower on than consensus..
English

@Elite_Drafters Bostons still pry better than the average late 1st group think buzz receiver tho
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL No one’s going to have a statistical season like Jeanty last year probably ever if you really think about it. Might be most worthy non Qb heisman candidate we’ll see in a long time
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL True but honestly there just weren’t many other great options that year other than maybe Tet
English

@LogicalBears @whatsyour40 @NFL_DF I’d be surprised if there’s 15 players from this draft that end up better nfl players than him
English

@whatsyour40 @GregHueser @NFL_DF I definitely think he’s a Day 1 starter as a run defender. Think the tape showed plenty of consistency there (which is the topic at hand)
English

Keldric Faulk is a plug-and-play starter on run downs
Teams actively choose not to run to his side, and they often fail when they try
NFL Draft Files@NFL_DF
Keldric Faulk running a 4.68 40 yard dash at 6’6, 274lbs is awesome, and it translates on film. Watch him chase down this WR in the open field:
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL Hunter won the biletnikov too which is the most ridiculous award win I’ve ever seen
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL People made the same dumb argument when saying Hunter should win the heisman when they had basically identical SOS rankings.
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL It’s fine to think Jeanty is better my only point is when ppl say OBVIOUSLY he’s better it’s like what makes you think it’s definitive like that is all
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL The are examples to be made in either case so I’ll just state here what I’ve realized.
The best way to account for SOS in terms of RBs is to look at the difference in the strength of their team vs opponents.
There’s a reason a lot of RB busts come from the best programs
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL Well I don’t see Dewayne McBride playing anywhere. But point is there’s nuance to it all
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL Ahmad Hardy played at like Louisiana Monroe in 2024 and averaged less than 6YPC. Then he played at Missouri this year and averaged 6.4YPC.
Texas actually played a real tough schedule Bijan’s final year, and they weren’t a great team.
English

@JoeA_NFL @LoganWarrenCLE The Burden of proof is on you to bring not me
English

@GregHueser @LoganWarrenCLE What in God's name is the argument for Falk not being shitty?
English

@GregHueser @JoeA_NFL Faulk sucks and I actually understand the Brazzell hype. Just is from Tennessee
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL Here’s an example.
In 21’ Dewayne McBride (uab) and Tyjae Soears (Tulane) both had more yards on less carries than bijan
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL LT and Faulk played in the same conference and didn’t put up the same numbers.
Stanford is 1-2 vs MWC last two years, sorry bottom tier ACC schools are no better than MWC schools
English

@warnerbro @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL Again in the mountain west. We’ll have plenty of time to find out who’s right. I like em both
English

@GregHueser @RakestrawNick @onfoenemJD5 @bdottaa @SleeperNFL They averaged the same yards per carry, which is much harder to do on double the volume.
Also Jeanty was running behind a Boise OL and Love an ND o-line. Just a bit of a difference
