I'm excited to announce that on Monday I'll start a new chapter with the @latimes, covering the Dodgers. It's a paper I grew up admiring as a West Coast girl. I'm honored to be joining such an impressive sports staff and looking forward to covering another historic franchise.

Personal news: This is my last week at the @Suntimes. It's been an amazing four years at the paper and six covering the Cubs. I've worked with so many wonderful people and have fallen in love with Chicago. It's going to be hard to say goodbye. Thank you all for following along!

I wanted to come on here and say I’m grateful to all who had considerations and suggestions to pancreatic cancer. My mom transitioned this morning after suffering from this crazy disease.. it kept me up many nights trying to find away to defeat it .bittersweet day we lose the temple but her energy will always help guide my spirit! 🤞🏿🙏🏿

Bummed that Cal Raleigh didn't win AL MVP, but this wasn't an East Coast bias thing. Of the 10 AL East voters, it was a 5-5 split between Raleigh and Judge. In AL West, also a 5-5 split. Difference came from AL Central voters (7-3 for Judge).

@cougsgo I also was a right-handed Lenny in my youth. At least in my mind and driveway. Such a good role model and representative of Seattle hoops.

Sad news about Lenny Wilkens. Didn’t care that I was right-handed, still tried to pretend I was him in my driveway. Very cool when he coached a kids’ team I was on at the Bob Houbregs summer camp at Fort Casey on Whidbey Island. Legend and a class act. #GoCougs
