My wife and I have played video games together since 1999. In the first months of dating, she bought a PS1 so we could play together whenever I came over to visit. We’ve been playing with our kids for 19 years. Opinion hereby invalidated.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@NewRightPoast They're all lying about this. They have a fetish for open racism existing.

I worked at Burger King in the late '90s with total shitkicking rednecks, I'm talking about guys with confederate flag bumper stickers who rigged their truck horns to play Dixie (seriously). And nobody would have DREAMED of calling someone the n-word to their face. Not once did I see this in four years. Behind closed doors, yes they were telling n-word jokes *in the abstract.* But never, ever, in four years did I hear someone call a specific person the n-word. They probably would have tried to start something with you if you did (the hicklib phenomenon is not new). These were guys who drank MD 20/20 and Sprite all through their shift, who had sex in the disgusting crew bathroom with the most ratchet-ass hoes you can imagine, who stole cases of chicken nuggets for their house parties. One guy actually went to jail for murdering his friend who'd had sex with his gf. Not exactly upstanding members of society. So idk if David is lying here or if his kid lied to him but consider me skeptical that this sort of thing is happening regularly(!) in a tony suburb in 2026.

Adopting a child from Ethiopia changed David French's perspective on the state of racism in America. From our new episode with @davidafrench.

@allie__voss Honestly, I hate buying bread that will go bad in a week. Bring on the preservatives. I have some Costco tortillas that are still good. Think I bought them a month ago. I love it.

@allie__voss Also, the Maldives is in India. No one with money has a "villa" there.

She’s doing this because OnlyFans is a pyramid scheme: she’ll earn a cut of the revenue for anyone she “recruits” She knows that most women will sell their souls for far less than minimum wage, but she’s so greedy she doesn’t care This is evil

@baltic_dan The zoomettes know that. If you still look young, and are an active person, they can skip the whole broccoli hair broke and rude Zoomer boy drama and upgrade to a gentle guy with a nice car and a large house. They're chasing us. It's getting ridiculous.

Brain scans are revealing early dementia-like changes in kids and teens from heavy screen use. 60 Minutes Australia reported toddlers spending just 2–3 hours daily on devices already show abnormal white matter development. Teens averaging 6–8 hours display widened brain ridges and thinning in key areas — patterns that mirror early Alzheimer’s. Excessive screens appear to weaken neural pathways that normally strengthen through real-world movement, play, and face-to-face interaction. We’re also seeing the first IQ drops in recorded history, plus a nearly 400% rise in early-onset dementia signs among 35–44 year olds. Correlation, not proven causation — but devices are the major new variable. This is one of those reports that makes you rethink default habits. The convenience of screens is undeniable, but the potential long-term brain impacts on developing kids are hard to ignore. We may be unintentionally running a massive experiment on the next generation’s cognitive health. Are we underestimating the risks of heavy screen time, or is this concern overblown?

@0x49fa98 Some people are weak and incompetent, with no ability to change the world around them, so they will resort to magical thinking. That's not only stupidity, but a way to reduce the merits of people who can actually do things.

My wife admits that she has no idea how this house works no matter how often I try to teach her. She will ask things like "Why do you need a filter wrench" I explained I broke my old one and needed to change the houses water filter. I do it every 3 months for the last 15 years...she never knew. After that she wanted a whole list, and it was a lot. Everything but mowing and trash she had no idea about.

The feminists who complain men don’t do enough around the house seem to have absolutely no idea what men do around the house.
