I know Anime isn’t for everyone, but I truly believe that when it’s at its best no entertainment medium can best it. Classics like Tenchi and Eva, Movies like Mononoke Hime and recent shows like Your Lie in April, Made in Abyss and My Hero Academia, Simply put Anime rules.

@catsen The one thing I find hilarious about Avatar fans that post stuff online is how frustrated they get with post ATLA shows and this movie. ATLA was television perfection on several levels. And it’s up against almost 2 decades of nostalgia…good luck chasing that!

As a lifelong ATLA fan, the new Avatar: The Last Airbender movie didn’t quite capture what made the original so special. The animation was absolutely gorgeous. Some of the best fight scenes, visually it was incredible. But the plot is generic and rushed. The characters needed more screen time and development because a lot of the emotional moments didn’t land. My biggest disappointment was the voice acting. They recast all of the characters, and most of the performances are ordinary and vanilla. The original cast had much more life and personality. Still worth watching for Airbender fans and the animation alone. And all of them are HOT now so 8/10

@Katara_27_ Ohhhhh welcome to the family! In my opinion it’s one of the top tier JRPG’s I even enjoy it more than the FF franchise. Cool fact: each different entry into the series takes place at or around the same time in a different part of the country.

Never played a Trails game in my life but i figured it was about time. So glad i was able to get my hands on this.

I’ve seen several series never get a physical or digital release and a few are third seasons of shows that were released…

@MiaLeeSakura @tomo1910_ Man….I had to wait 3 years for 86 to release on Blu-ray, and while it’s better than that we’re just getting Re:Zero season 3 this week. And yes CR are doing way way less physical releases. Man….I don’t trust Sony haven’t for years but they way they’ve treated anime is gross.

I wouldn't be shocked if both get even more skimpy tho but too soon to doom imo I have the JP blu which has subs at least, no subs on the extras tho like the bts segment. I missed the theatrical release, alas :(

@BenjaminOscar77 Sony doesn’t do Blu-ray’s anymore unfortunately. Aniplex is a Sony subsidiary and this seems to be the plan going forward. Just like they’re doing with PlayStation in 2028.

@balbnis As an Xbox gamer I appreciate the mention. I’m a bit saddened that I can’t join in till September, that said…more time to knock out the backlog….cause yeah we all have em. Sending positive energy to everyone working on the game.

Yesterday we launched Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game. We had a few unfortunate setbacks but all of the teams at @paramountgames @avatar_fighters @PMStudiosUSA gave it their heart and soul to make sure we launched one of the best fighting games you can experience. This project was a dream come true for me as I am very passionate about fighting games and the community. I am truly grateful to be a part of this experience and I assure you that all of the teams will keep this going! We also hit the top sellers list on Steam!

@Khan2O49 Yeah, and I have a dusty PS5 (lol) but that’s for single player games (not paying for PS+) and I do have a PC as well, but I choose my Xbox because I play it daily. I could switch to Steam but looking at the state of the game currently…yeah I’ll wait 😆

Seeing a lot of people say it's "ok" given that "it's just Xbox". These guys don't understand how harmful this is to the game as a whole, as it will make a lot of people interested in grabbing this, not. Which sucks because this game deserves the best.
