I just don't understand why the xenos can't be the main threat from start to finish. They felt the need to do this and it was unnecessary to me. The facehuggers, for example, were scary again. Apply that same kind of creativity to the xenos.... I was also pretty pissed they killed off Kay in the process, who endured the worst trauma of anyone.

I actually like the duel on the Death Star wreckage in TROS and parts of the Throne Room fight in TLJ, but yeah - splitting the difference between the Prequels and the OT would have been wiser. TFA's duel is downright laughable. It's not just about choreography, though - it's about the significance of the duel. The Sequels didn't do the work from a story perspective, so the duels fell flat, ultimately.

Hoppers is a surprisingly fun, entertaining, and heartfelt gem of 2026. I took my five-year-old daughter, and we both had a great time. I admit I had fairly low expectations going in, but it turned out to be an amazing blend of humor and heart. Definitely recommend 👏
