@WesleyLHuff You a fan? Piper’s sermons and books have been such a blessing to me. Truly has curbed my enthusiasm around the gospel.

@Xtopher_Uzo @WESELDER1977 Repentance preceded every instance of baptism in the New Testament except for Jesus. You need to comprehend repentance to actually be repentant.

@WESELDER1977 Circumcision was for those that believed too. Were infants asked before getting circumsized?

@Lord_grimz @brucefanjoy A foetus is not a person until it is born. Not legally, medically, or ethically. That is all there is to it.

@AbbyJohnson So if I am on the pill and it fails and I get a positive test. An unwanted pregnancy I tried my best to prevent. I am literally 2 weeks pregnant. I can dissolve cells the size of a flea with medication. You think I murdered a child? Really?

@RaisedindaS0UTH @WWUTTcom Serious question. Why WOULDNT they do a sermon regarding Easter?
English

@WWUTTcom Serious question: what does your church do on Easter. Next section? Or a sermon focusing specifically on some aspect of the Resurrection?

@bobzimmermp Was your income the same in 2026 as it was in 2014? Was rent? Price of groceries, services, etc? No they were not. So what is your point?!?

Carney says that the high cost of fuel at the gas station is due to $100 barrels of oil…
Yet, when oil cost $100 a barrel in 2014, gas only cost $1.38, not $1.99 like we are paying in Fort St. John.
Will the Carney get rid of all gas taxes for the rest of the year to make life more affordable for you?

I think the person who might have had the greatest influence in bringing about Saul's conversion was Stephen, the church’s first martyr. I believe it could have been Stephen’s bold testimony that threw fuel on Saul’s fire because Saul was under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Stephen didn’t have a long ministry. He never wrote a book of the New Testament. But if his only convert was Saul of Tarsus, then his ministry was profoundly successful.
The same goes for your Christian ministry. You may not reach millions with the gospel. You may not reach thousands. You may not reach hundreds. But you may be the person whom God uses to reach someone who will, in turn, change the world. Or it may be a child you raised in the way of the Lord who reaches someone else, who talks to someone else, and eventually shares the gospel with someone like Saul. So, here’s what you need to realize: It’s not over until it’s over.

@RavenStarMedia @vteclimey It really doesn’t. Yes they are in there, no one denies it. But you have to read in context knowing what is prescriptive and what is descriptive and the rest of the context of the story. Happy to further this conversation if you’d like but it doesn’t sound like you do.
