@brianlilley There’s a lot more to it than feed costs. Multiple reasons that take place over multiple years got us to where we are now. $75/ day to feed a cow?? That may have taken place, but it wasn’t widespread

@KenSchaus I m hearing of lots of different issues this year , IMO lots of ranchers r doing less for their calves these days and larger presorts are adding lots of stress too . We can do better

Feeding calves this winter and some of the background yards here in Ontario are seeing severe Thiamine shortfalls Cattle are showing signs of circling and stretched out Look into the Thiamine levels Minimums are half or a third of whats needed
