Lord, let me love my kids the way Woody loves his kid(s): uncertain of their future (and my own) but certain of the importance of my role in service and love. #toystory

Listen Spotify, I am a human with multiple facets and many interests. But if I'm listening to a playlist called "Quiet Worship Music" then your advertisement for a Marilyn Manson concert is probably not going to land well.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Monday morning through Thursday morning for the San Bernardino County Mountains. ⚠️❄️ Two rounds of heavy snow are possible. For the first round on Monday, 4 to 9 inches are expected between 6,000 and 7,000 feet, 9 to 14 inches are expected between 7,000 and 8,000 feet, and up to 20 inches are possible above 8,000 feet. Winds could gust from 60 to 70 mph. There may be breaks in snow showers or periods of lighter snow during the day on Tuesday, with a second round of heavy snow and gusty winds developing Wednesday into Thursday morning. Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below one-quarter mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Strong winds could also cause tree damage. Visit prepare.sbcounty.gov for safety tips and helpful resouces. #WeatherAlert

So @7eleven won't let me submit feedback without selecting a store, but won't let me find/select the store. #fail

Saturday December 27, 2025, 8:08 AM: Another storm on the horizon New Year's Eve into New Year's Day is taking shape with the warming of the Pacific Ocean in the storm conveyor belt possibly additional 1.25 - 3.5 inches of rain is trending for your holiday festivities. We have already received 11.22 inches in Downtown L.A. over 18.00 inches of rainfall Santa Ynez Mountains yes including Santa Barbara and Montecito. The San Marcos Pass is receiving 20.00 inches of rainfall and not even late January or February when the biggest storms usually arrive. Northern California San Francisco also received up to 8.39 inches of rain so far this season and the Pacific Northwest has received over 20.00 inches of rain so everyone in the entire Western United States is benefiting from the Pacific being warmer than average, which continues to warm even though we have a weak, La Niña off the coast of Peru, which is not having any impact whatsoever. #CAwx

This weekend a store was playing @blessidband and now I'm just reliving senior year through Spotify. Lots of memories and feelings - not all good - but God is good.

What created this unusual planetary nebula? Dubbed the Pillow Nebula and the Flying Carpet Nebula, NGC 7027 is one of the smallest, brightest, and most unusually shaped planetary nebulas known. Given its expansion rate, NGC 7027 first started expanding, as visible from Earth, about 600 years ago. For much of its history, the planetary nebula has been expelling shells, as seen in blue in the featured image by the Hubble Space Telescope. In modern times, though, for reasons unknown, it began ejecting gas and dust (seen in brown) in specific directions that created a new pattern that seems to have four corners. What lies at the nebula's center is unknown, with one hypothesis holding it to be a close binary star system where one star sheds gas onto an erratic disk orbiting the other star. NGC 7027, about 3,000 light years away, was first discovered in 1878 and can be seen with a standard backyard telescope toward the constellation of the Swan (Cygnus).
