@SleeperVikings This feels like scheme fit match made in heaven. Flores definitely said that's his kinda interior DL. If it wasn't for medical history he's likely a 1st round prospect regardless. There's risk for sure, but the Flores scheme relies on pressure from the front 7. I'm good with it.

@JasonHarmonNFL My interpretation of all the reports is KOC knew JJ wasn't physically or mentally ready to be a starter in the NFL. He never said he won't ever be ready. Sam was on top of his game in 24 and he knew that was the team's best chance in 2025. Just let the off-season play out.

A lot of speculation now flying around that KOC was never on board for McCarthy. Whether that is true or not, KOC stood at a press conference, and without being provoked stated that Vikings fans have their young franchise QB in the building. There has to be some accountability for that kind of endorsement even if he didn’t mean it.
