@scrunklemuffin @CloudxAuron Why does it being not voiced demerit it? It's just different styles of narration. One is delivered much like an anime story(aqs and sqs) while wqs narrative is book-like, both valid forms of storytelling, and I much prefer the unvoiced narration in wqs, it's subjective

@abmbernation @ChildOfAnasrava "increases immersion" that's subjective, as I said wqs feel more immersive to me than aqs which mostly feel like I'm watching an anime. That's why I largely prefer wqs to aqs too(though some aqs are pretty good too).

Being direct was not making stuff locked to flavour text, wq is still direct.And idk I prefer unvoiced narration that world quests have, I can play them at my own pace and it feels more immersive. Being unvoiced doesn't make it unimportant

@BuildXueyi Entirely different scenario though, I know it’s a funny meme to rag on this scene but it was a brief cutscene flashback where you couldn’t control anything or explore iirc, not a map to be traversed and fought for ~15 minutes in like the genshin examples
