I love a tradition. Went today to my parents’ house in Sheffield today to watch the local sword-dancing troupe’s annual Traipse around the village.

Our traipse is off to a great start with new member Liam’s first ever dance out at the Reading Room. We’ll be all around the village throughout the day, so please come and find us! 1/2

This Saturday 7th Jan we will be dancing our Traipse around Grenoside. Traditionally a long walk between the larger houses in the region to earn a wage during the winter shutdowns, this was restarted in recent times as an informal dance with friends and supporters of the team.1/3
