@Omojuwa I found it shameful and jarring, Omojuwa. I kept wondering how I'd like to be treated if it was myself or my family in this situation. Click-hunger has a big cost, and it continues to tell on our capacity for respect and kindness.

Happy to hear Folake is now with family. A few things to learn here. - it is not every form of mental breakdown that is associated with drugs or a spiritual attack. There were a little too many people who insisted this was because of drugs or spiritual attack. I understand how our view of the world will always be limited by what we know or are used to. But it doesn’t make our view exhaustive. - if you found yourself in Folake’s situation, how would you want to be helped? Could she have gotten help without videos of her mental breakdown being posted on the internet? At what point does seeking help for her clash with other motives? Let us continue to look out for one another, but we must question our own motives even in these moments of kindness. That way we offer help without creating new problems. And when help has been found, it’s okay to delete the posts, especially when such posts whilst helping to get help also compromised the dignity of the helped. These aren’t experiences the average person deals with everyday, so we cannot judge one another too hard. We can only learn to do better. Take care of you.

Always good to see these young men and women do wonders within a short period of time. Happy we made the right call on them at the time.

I still remember when @SirJarus and I interviewed Promise for the MT Scholarships. We knew instantly that she is destined for great things. Left us all laughing. Then the very next interview after hers was Emmanuel Nworie's and he left us all crying. That day was an emotional roller coaster. Super proud of Promise!

Sometimes I wake up and start thinking about how we have not gotten simple things right so we can’t evolve into greater things. Does Nigeria have a space program actively trying to get people to the moon and mars?

When I was at PHD, I loved that we got 3 days off each year that had nothing to do with your annual leave or bank holidays; you got your birthday off, then one day each for World Happiness Day and World Mental Health Day.

@fimiletoks The road is okay imo, I just think there should be immediate stationing of emergency services at least within every 4km radius. We are due for a National Ambulance/Emergency Corps . Every standard highway should have an ambulance point every 4km and fire truck every 10km.

How is this road poorly designed? It's a 6 lane road inbound Sagamu and 4 lanes from Sagamu to Ibadan. Hard shoulders run all the way to Ibadan. Even in the I 85 in the US, street lights and CCTV are mostly present in built up areas and the interchange. Once you are out of the urban sections, you will hardly see any ambulance points in the rural interstate. If an accident occurs, you will be rescued snd extracted by police patrol or bystanders before they call on the EMS.

With due respect to the effort of the FG, Lagos/ Ibadan expressway was badly constructed. I don't have to be a civil engineer or architect before knowing that road is a death trap. The busiest road in Southern Nigeria that can't compete with best trunkA roads in some Africa countries like South Africa. That road ideally should be 6 lanes with preventive measures, the Ogun corridor of the road is a death trap. Uncompleted bends, No street light, no CCTV, no sufficient emergency outlets & no serious measures to curb overspeeding knowing Nigerians are very stubborn. That road should be redesigned as soon as possible.

A certain @chiderashedrac2 has reached out and says he is one of the passengers. He has promised to send the details I requested for. I don't know where distrust in my department should be coming from, given that I am here 24/7 attending to complaints, and my department has achieved the highest volume of refunds, compensations, hotel accommodation, and case resolutions in the history of civil aviation in Africa as a whole. I have personally and satisfactorily attended to one of your self-introduced reporters, Daniel Ojukwu, when he had a disruption. We need to do more. We will not stop until we are as close to perfection as possible. Thanks for putting out their story. The NCAA cannot take action on any case that has not be reported to it, and I would not have known about this if you did not post it. Thanks a bunch.
'Fisayo Soyombo@fisayosoyombo

Michael, I'll be referring you to @MarkTheGre8, the @fijnigeria reporter who filed the story. Hopefully he can convince the passengers to speak with the NCAA, but the decision will ultimately be theirs. You may already know: public disillusionment with government agencies, not least the NCAA, is astronomical; it's why passengers naturally run to the media -- not the NCAA -- when trampled on by airlines. Good luck trying to build that trust! PS: I'm unaware you attempted to reach me before. Checked my DM and found nothing. Blessings.
