1/2 Greetings, guys/gals. Ian, K5ZM here. It's the changing of the guard for GMH! Paul has stepped down & I've come up to the plate -largely because I've always looked forward the weekly maps, which have been so beneficial. Also because I feel it still has life left to it.

Just a quick heads up to let you know that the GMH offices will be closed this Sunday but should be back in action the following Sunday (15th) albeit a couple hours later than usual. In any event, don't let that stop you from sending in your data! :)

Sorry for the delay! Been on a NyQuil binge the past couple nights. Does wonders for one's motivation (not!). In any event, no submissions this week. Back to the twilight zone......

OK, so we gave it another 7 days. Still quiet on the GMH front. I'll chalk it up to a bizarre mix of WFD prep and continued craptastic weather over much of the country. No worries. It's cool. (See what I did there?)

There were no submissions this week. So...let's give it another 7 days. See what happens then, yeah? ;)

No submissions this week. Understandable given the craptastic wx most of us are dealing with.

Just a quick note to say that the GMH office will be open tomorrow and the map will publish, but it'll be a few hours later than usual.

@ure_n8 Damn. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to tell you until the 28th as the Windows machine is at home and I don’t yet have Parallels installed on the MBP that IS with me while I’m here in the PHX area. (The GMH software is Windows only).

@GridMasterHeat Who still needs EL95? I will be there Dec 25 to Dec 31, FM only.

I'll be pulling submissions for the Sunday 488 map tomorrow (Friday) night. The map will still publish per usual but I'm in between laptops ATM and don't have the new one completely configured. If I miss anyone this week, I'll put you in the following week's batch.

@W8LR_Jerry @GridChasers Gotta admit, I might've contributed to this, however unwittingly. I became laxed in notifying rovers of who needed a given grid(s) along their route prior to departure. The GMH program has the ability to do that quite easily & I need to do better at staying on top of that!

@GridMasterHeat - After looking at the heat map and also @GridChasers , I can not but help wonder how there are so many grids that are a high percentage of need yet seemingly people do not show up in numbers to work rovers that make any dent in averages? What am I missing?

@N5BO_Justin @W8LR_Jerry @GridChasers Recently, perhaps a month ago, I removed several callsigns from the GMH master list. The majority were GMs, but a couple were SKs. That might be why you’re seeing a difference.

@W8LR_Jerry @GridMasterHeat @GridChasers I suspect a lot of callsigns in the gridmasterheat system are no longer active on sats, or actively chasing grids anymore. It has been like this for quite awhile.
