1/2 Greetings, guys/gals. Ian, K5ZM here. It's the changing of the guard for GMH! Paul has stepped down & I've come up to the plate -largely because I've always looked forward the weekly maps, which have been so beneficial. Also because I feel it still has life left to it.

Welp, no submissions this week. So here's a little eye candy for those adventure junkies who might be thinking about heading down south(ish) beyond BBNP.

Re everybody congratulating @N8AJM: I'm guessing he's made GM? I'm unable to view his posts as I've not been approved. Who knows, maybe he blocked me.

Just a gentle reminder that the GMH project is operational again. So submit yer data if thar be any -an' if thar isn't any, that's OK, too! I've got some cool consolation maps at the ready 😉.

3/3 We're fully staffed and all divisions of GridMasterHeat are again running at 100% capacity. The weekly 488 maps will resume this Sunday morning! We'll also begin stepping up our production of the randoms maps as well. Because, hey.. we can 😀.

2/? However.. after a bumpy ride the past two weeks full of more suspense and frustration than I wanna get into, I can now say that the user data recovery process was a success and I'm VERY pleased to report that the GMH project has been restored.

1/? OK, folks. Sorry to have kept you all in the dark. As you may recall, the desktop that houses everything relating to GMH recently suffered a critical systems failure -made worse by some not-so-prudent computer practices. IOW, I'd been working without a net for many years.

Been a busy weekend consisting of lotsa computer related stuff. As to what the GMH project will look like going forward, I should have an update for you come tomorrow or Tuesday.

I’m tellin’ ya…if I could figure out a way to do this whole GMH thing on my MBP, I’d likely walk away from Windows here and now 🤬. Indeed, there are Windows only things I’d definitely miss -but I’d survive.
