With the news that Tarik Skubal will be out for 2 to 3 months and the Tigers in win now mode The SFG and Buster Posey should be on the phone right now offering Logan Webb and Willy Adames for Young stud SS Kevin McGonigle. Give the Tigers $50 million to take in Adames contract. MCGonigle is signed for 8 yrs $150 million. Giants owe Adames approximately $150. This would be a wash for the Giants financially and the Tigers get Webb for this year and all of 27 & 28 to help with the loss of Skubal.

Great article by John Shea & after reading about Devers which I have shared these numbers on NCSN, I am more convinced that I think Devers is probably closer to 34-35 than 29. Bat speed does not normally start decreasing at age 27 & swing & miss 50% of 4 seamers in the strike zone. I can’t wait until others in the media start questioning Devers age.
